We had the most difficult property transaction recently, and I must acknowledge lawyer Gaurav and the entire team at Lakhanpal Law office has done an amazing and seamless closing even though the transaction was at the verge of falling through. Lakhanpal law office is professional and ethical in all their dealings with the customers. Everyone at Lakhapal law office is so helpful, especially Kamal who provided property transaction support always. You can entrust Lakhanpal law office with your deals and they will handle it professionally for sure. I give them 100 stars, and I recommend Lakhanpal law office.

Please read my review and then take a decision to hire them. It’s up to you.

We are from Toronto and bought a condo in calgary and closed it through this company.

Though we were finally able to close our condo, but it was not on the committed date. And we ended up paying penalty to the seller. Also, I personally do not like Lakhanpal how he speaks to the customers, he is quite rude if you ask questions. Adding Lakhanpal charges additional $500 for coming on call for closing which is additional to his law fees. This is just for your info. Total lawyer fees of lakhanpal costed me around $2200 for a $250k condo closing.

Closing date meeting was moved and when I called him to ask what happened, I was told to find another lawyer if I want too, he said he has other work too, and printing was delayed, and cut the phone on my face. I just kept my cool as I had no other option, and waited for this nightmare to end.

I had to do multiple follow up with his office to get closing docs, they did not send by themselves. Lakhanpal is a rude guy, he is the friendliest when you pay him, after that he comes back to what he is, if you call him for anything afterwards, he is very disrespectful. Which is quite awkward, even though you are the one paying for his time.

I wont recommend, I am aware lot of Ontario people are buying condos in Calgary, there are many other law firms in the area, do your browsing before selecting.
