I had found Koroll & Company online and thought I would give this company a try this year with my SIMPLE tax return. I thought I was going to be dealing with Michael himself but he had turned me over to another accountant which seemed like he did not know what he was doing. After going back and forth for a few days he finally got it done and told me what I was getting. There was some error made while filing my tax and he had submitted my claim without adding my RRSP and had to make an adjustment. I’m surprised Michael having a big company like this and he himself did not review and send in my tax document as he was the reason I came to his company. Long story short cause of this mess up I have to wait until June for the CRA to review the adjustment. Now my money is all tied up cause of this error which could have been prevented. First and last, Will never be using them again. Recommend everyone to do your research, dont let fancy website FOOL you. STAY AWAY!!

I would recommend steering clear of this firm. They are incredibly unprofessional and not careful with their work at all. They made a mistake on my 2025 taxes which resulted in me paying over 1k in penalties and taxes. After bringing up the mistake to them and asking what they would do to make up for it, they simply suggested I use them again to redo my taxes. Not looking to rectify the issue or take accountability for their poor work. I have yet to hear from them regarding this. STAY CLEAR FROM THIS PLACE.

I have no idea what these most recent reviews are talking about. I believe their own incompetence in business is shining through and they want to spread ridicule and blame to others. It is interesting that the racism card is so easily put out when issues arise these days instead of recognizing that there's a problem with the actual underlying business.

I just finished my taxes with Allen and I have to say he went above and beyond to help me. He even called me at 8 in the morning on a Saturday off hours to confirm some things for my T2 filing.

He has a very solid team of individuals working for him and to say Allen is a racist is completely false considering my taxes were literally done by someone named Muhammad Yousaf.

Get over yourselves and focus on your businesses. Don't blame someone else for your failures and I'm very excited for the liberal handholding to be gone next election. You're not special in any way as a first generation immigrant as well we all have the same equal opportunities here in Canada.

Ironically, by continuing to point out racism, you're actually enforcing and encouraging racism by having the opposite effect. Don't you see what is happening by sectioning yourselves off into diversity and inclusion groups? That's literally racism by compartmentalizing yourselves into special designations and groups.

Don't listen to these others. Allen, Koroll & Co do a stand up job and have saved me thousands on taxes and filings. You want a cheap Account go to H & R block or use turbo tax. You want someone that gets the job done and can give a legal middle finger to the CRA for your hard earned money choose Allen.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Allen of Koroll and Company while seeking assistance with my taxes.

From the outset, the individual I dealt with who called himself Allen displayed blatant racism by making derogatory comments about my name and the name of my organization.

Shockingly, in less than 2 minutes of inquiring about his services, he expressed his disdain for social justice and diversity, dismissing these vital principles with a callous "blah, blah, blah."

It was deeply disheartening to encounter someone who not only harbours such prejudiced views but also openly expresses them in a professional setting.

I was shocked by how he verbally harassed me about my service, spewing hate for our services of social justice for everyone when I called their office to inquire about his business.

He even said, "This is my position about social justice so you may not want to engage our services!!"

Basically, he said I should take my business elsewhere cos he is a racist bigot and I am Black.

His complete disregard for the importance of diversity and social justice is not only appalling but also completely unacceptable.

All I can say is WOW!!!!

Even after experiencing racism and discrimination from far too many people and businesses, I am still in shock writing this.

In my opinion, individuals like him have no place in business, and their discriminatory attitudes should not be tolerated.

It is concerning that someone with such narrow-minded beliefs is allowed to operate in any capacity, let alone provide services to the public.

I strongly urge others to avoid Koroll and Company at all costs.

Supporting businesses that promote inclusivity, diversity, and social justice is crucial, and I refuse to patronize establishments that uphold discriminatory practices.

Besides, Allen is one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to, blatantly expressing prejudice towards me, my accent, and my business in about 2 minutes!!!

In conclusion, encountering racism and bigotry at Koroll and Company was a deeply troubling experience, and I sincerely hope that action is taken to address and rectify such behaviour.

Allen and his business don't even deserve the 1-Star cos there is no option for ZERO!!!

Regrettably, I must express my dissatisfaction with the substandard service provided. The 2022 tax return prepared by Koroll & Company was riddled with errors, necessitating me to seek the expertise of another reputable accounting firm in Newmarket to rectify the situation.

Upon seeking assistance, I was informed that a fee of $900 would be required to address the issues with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). It is worth noting that I had already disbursed $700 for a basic personal tax return, whereas my current accounting firm only charged me $175 for the same service this year.

I strongly advise against engaging the services of the aforementioned establishment under any circumstances. I learned the hard way!! BE WARNED!!

I recently attended at Mr. Allen Koroll’s office for a complimentary initial consultation. Notwithstanding that the initial consultation was entirely complimentary Mr. Koroll provided me with logical and sound accounting/tax advice regarding my areas of inquiry. He also provided me informative written material regarding my areas of inquiry for me to take home with me, again entirely complimentary. The staff at the office were both professional and polite. I would not hesitate to contact Mr. Koroll again for my future accounting/tax needs.
