Before I met Kris, I thought (hoped) I could oppose my soon-to-be ex-husband by myself. I was tired of lawyer’s fees for back-and-forth letters that got me absolutely nowhere. Kris was expensive but turned out to be worth every penny! He knew how and when to push the other side and what to ask for. Not only did he get me a great resolution- an agreement that both my ex and I found fair- he made me feel heard along the way. The legal system has a way of bulldozing you. Kris alleviated that because he believed me and was on my side. I met him right before his transition to Kohler Family Law and I’m such a fan of the new firm- especially Kris’ wife Celina! She cared about my story too even though she wasn’t on my file. In the end, I feel that I didn’t hire Kris to write my agreements, applications, letters. Technically I could have done that myself. I hired him for what I couldn’t do: fight for me with all the strategy, boldness and vigilance that come with being a seasoned and talented family law lawyer. I highly recommend this firm!

Kohler family law has been amazing over our 3.5 year family court matter, they were extremely supportive to my wife and were able to settle a two day trial on the first day of court. We highly recommend Kris and Celina they are extremely professional and passionate about giving their clients the best results. I hope my wife and I never have to go to family court again, but if we do we will be calling Kris and Celina at Kohler Family Law.

Kris, solid and confident and definitely knows what he is doing. He never backed down from a very unreasonable ex who was making false claims. Made the other side look incompetent! Thanks for resolution and end to a potentially messy divorce. Celina was great too. Both of them are extremely hard working and worth every penny.

I very highly recommend kohler family law to anyone who finds themselves heading into court. We first retained Kris from his previous firm, and stuck with him into his opening of kohler family law. Kris and his team have been absolutely amazing for our family. He and his team took a personalized interest into our matter. He wasn't fighting for a "win" in court. He was fighting for what's best for the kids. We always felt completely supported and well aware during our trials and meetings. There was never a second where we felt in the dark, or that he wasn't fighting for the kids.
He has helped us through our entire situation and we would never had made it with out him and the amazing staff at kohler family law. On top of being super friendly and supportive, they are all very professional and kind. We will always stick with kohler family law for any of our future needs, and I will always recommend them to anyone who needs help.

If I could give this lawyer zero stars I would. I retained him when he worked for Zukerman Law. If you want to lose and have your matter neglected and forgotten about he’s your man. As one of the more expensive lawyers in the firm you would expect more, but sadly he wasn’t very knowledgeable at all when it came to
case law and having a good court presence. He wasn’t liked in the courtroom and was chastised as off point and disrespectful. What he is a professional at is padding your bills with window dressings. When he makes a mistake or is neglectful to your file he will have every excuse in the book. Do yourself a favour and avoid his firm at all costs. I have compiled a file of his excuses for disappearing and ignoring my file ranging from being down with covid for weeks at a time to family emergencies etc. blah blah blah. Literally out over a 100k with with him running my divorce.
