Ordered two cords of wood for $444/cord, which seems high but similar to what others are charging in Halifax NS in 2023. Called in August and they said that they would confirm delivery in October. They returned my call in October and then delivered good quality birch, maple, and beechwood 16" cuts. They were short about 25-30 cubic feet. I asked them to deliver the remaining amount and they delivered the remainder three weeks later.

I'm not one to write reviews but I do want to issue a "buyer beware"

Pros: price wasn't bad, delivery was accommodating and speedy (<1 week). Cons: The soil quality of the garden soil was abysmal. It was almost all sand, a few rotting leaves, and LOTS of plastic. Like, a lot. The product should have never been delivered as it was visibly poor quality and full of trash. I should have made a complaint right then and there but wasn't quite sure until my roommate (a more experienced gardener) took one look at it and said it would be an uphill battle to plant anything in it. And it has been. I'll have to do a lot of work this spring to make it plant-able. I split my bulk order with a friend, who had the same problem in her garden, so we're both convinced that the soil is the issue. I really hope that this company steps up their QA this season.

I had a reallllly great experience with this company! Would definitely recommend for firewood (and bark mulch, which I ordered years ago). I ordered 2 cords of wood and was very pleased to receive such a generous amount; customer service was extraordinary, very nice and professional. You guys made my month. Thank you!!!!!

I am very disappointed in the quality of the product I received here. I ordered 3 yards of organic garden soil, and now have been trying to grow in it for almost 2 months. I might as well be trying to grow in a sandbox riddled with large rocks (much larger than 3/4") and garbage. I have found too many ketchup packets and other pieces of plastic garbage to feel good about this purchase.

I used to buy soil from them and I was happy. Today the “owner” named “Michael” smirked when I got pricing and I wanted to call him back. I asked him what’s the smirk about, he said:”oh it’s nothing”. I told him he should go read the online reviews about the company he said he didn’t care and hung up. I called back asked for his name and his manager, he said: “I’m the owner” in the most obnoxious tone. I asked for his name and he said Michael.

I think dinosaurs still exist, those who don’t want to wake up to see the times have changed and everything is online. You can’t be respected if you don’t respect others.

This input is more of feedback than review. Whilst I am satisfied with the products supplied I was disappointed with the delivery logistics. I was told I could call at 07:00 Saturday morning the day of the delivery but there was no guarantee I would have it early in the morning. I would have it before noon , I was told. That turned out not to be the case and multiple calls were made to be to see if I was home. Of course I was as I was expecting delivery before noon. It is 15:00 and apparently the truck is on its way. Why not say delivery between 9 and 5 and leave it at that.

Kel-Ann's called me back 2 days before my scheduled delivery to raise the delivery price. When I didn't like it, they asked if I wanted to cancel and hung up on me. Be careful.

I purchased soil about four years to start garden beds. Recently I called and was wanting some info on what soil do I need for my lawn as well as to top the garden beds. The gentleman I spoke to seemed to be awfully busy and nearly hung up on me. I got the info but left a poor impression. Was wondering whether this is the same outfit I dealt with about fours ago. I have not yet ordered the soil and yet debating..
