The good -
Hired Joseph to help us solve our LTB case. Overall wasn’t a terrible experience Joseph was quite helpful on our hearing date in terms of what to expect and how he planned to approach the case. In the end he was able to negotiate a good deal for us considering the complexity of our case.

The reason for 3 out of 5…
Definitely could be more organized. Sent materials but got emails asking to have them sent again. On hearing day I think he got my case mixed up with someone else’s and when I started to catch on, he said he had to call me back because he needed to find a pen? Took about 10 min to finally call me back….which was a bit anxiety inducing as we were minutes away from our hearing.

A bit more communication and organization and I would have given 5 star for sure.

Joseph helped me with a sensitive situation that was more based on principles than I financial matter. As a result there wasn’t very much monetary gain for him. Regardless he took the time to hear me out and go over details. We received the results that we wanted and he gave us sound advice for next step options. This gave me a good sense of his character and recommend his services based on what he did for us.

Maybe I am fortunate to have not needed legal assistance all that much this far in my life.
But I did have a very difficult situation with someone I rented a room too. With the understanding that the 4 cats she was bringing in would not try to repopulate the planet. Ie: she’d be getting them fixed.
Well as much as they tried there ended up being over 21 cats not so long later. AND NOBODY I mean nobody could help me evict her.

It was not until I spoke with Joseph that his understanding of the situation and LEGAL suggestions was I able to evict cat lady and her clowder of cats.

Recently, like 24hours ago I decided maybe I should ask a lawyer about my two traffic tickets. Well less than 20 hours later after a good consultation with Joseph, both tickets were cancelled. This was partially due to the information and documents he provided. But also for his critiquing of what I was going to say in court.

Again thankfully my legal troubles are few. And not wishing for any in the future but if it happens, I’m sure you can figure it out.

I was looking for legal council on a matter with my tenant and Joseph started off really well - kept me informed, were giving me a tactful approach. However, one clerical error which was not recognized has set me back another 4 months behind the intended eviction date. This process to get this clerical error fixed is now taking just as long as the original eviction order.

The same clerical errors Joseph told me landlords make (which inclined me to take on his services) had been carried out by him.

I understand Joseph and team are trying to make this work, but I can't comprehend why this wasn't caught earlier. I have officially reached the 1 year when I engaged with Joseph and I am beyond disappointed that it is not resolved. I get the backlog of cases the LTB has, the new and on-going cases Joseph and team might have, but this 1 clerical error has and is continuing to cost me.

We hired Joseph over a year ago based on the Google reviews to deal with our tenant issues. He charges you in full up front for his services and promises you the world. After that we had to chase after him to get any update. His office made multiple mistakes with our paper work. Every time we called we got a different lie (LTB lost the paper, wrong address was submitted, ...)
I DO NOT recommend him. All his reviews are fake. Save your money and hire a professional paralegal!
