I used Kaufmann Dockrill & Associates when closing on a condo purchase in February, 2024.
Note that it's very important to ask from the beginning for a clear breakdown of the known costs included in disbursements in order to make an informed decision. In my case, I found out a day before signing that the amount charged was double the amount I was told on the phone when I contacted them initially. I immediately asked for the breakdown and I was able to recuperate some of these charges. Many of the disbursements, as I found out, are well known in advance, but not communicated transparently. So until there is more transparency from the firm, make sure you ask for a proper quote before going any further. For this reason, I cannot recommend this firm at this point.
