My child has benefitted greatly from seeing Winn for therapy. Winn's warm, creative approach to dealing with big feelings has enabled my child to see that working on wellness is good and normal. We cannot thank Winn enough for the positive impact she has made in our daughter’s life. Winn came highly recommended for her experience with anxiety, grief and loss. Winn has helped our daughter understand anxiety and provided creative strategies on how to deal with her anxiety, stress and worries. Winn has created a warm, welcoming and engaging environment with a sand tray, art and activities that our daughter looks forward to each session. Through her play, Winn is able to understand the challenges our daughter may be experiencing and our daughter feels seen and heard by Winn. Winn Reitema has been there for our family multiple times in some of our darkest hours. Her work with myself as well as my daughter has provided clarity, hope, understanding and a sustainable pathway toward recovery. Her approach to counselling takes into large account, the complexities of trauma, human nature, physiological realities, and developmental stages.
