Went for a consultation that I was understanding was free and then after the consultation, Garrett had informed me that I owe him $500

He was more like trying to scare me into buying a lawyer then an actual lawyer giving a consultation

I didn’t even want to hire him, but after paying 500 bucks for a five minute talk, I had no other choice. We do not have money to go around paying 500 bucks to lawyers we don’t want to hire.

It was after their regular hoirs when we talked to Garrett so the office was closed

, but that was no problem for him and he fired up that ATM debit machine took my money and then proceeded to take a couple thousand dollars after that and barely anything in court

I would say this is more of a scam than a lawyer company

I used Kahane Law Office for the sale of our house. They were very easy to deal with. There was no surprise fee. Whatever was discussed and explained of their fees and breakdown was the total cost to close. I dealt with Amanda through the whole process via email. Once we decided to use them we sent them our sale contract and they took care of everything. We had a few issues due to our survey company for the real property report. Which resulted in a 5K hold back. But Amanda did a wonderful explaining the hold and assured me I would get it back and it was the standard amount.

She was also very accommodating on the sign off date as I was away on business. We were able to make arrangements for the paperwork to be signed. The whole process was easy regardless of a few issues. I would recommend their office to anyone and would use them again in the future.
