It's been quite a few years but I feel I must share my experience working with Ms. Di Toppa.

She was thorough, very much to-the-point (which is what you like to when you're paying by the hour) and firm -- especially with the other side's counsel. She was able to bring my divorce to a rapid conclusion after a few years of a glacial pace through the so-called "collaborative" process. I really appreciated having her on my side.

Would never recommend this firm. The trauma Tina Huizinga caused my children has caused us lifelong psychological bills. After awarding 'shared parenting', my son ran away from his father's home. He was missing for over an hour.. Great job. ALSO - the other parent doesn't even bring our daughter to her activites - like she directed... so.. she ALSO gets to receive no stability....

At least she showed me that I was protecting the child's relationship with their dad... she just ruined it for us all *insert eyeroll

Unfortunately I had the complete displeasure of being referred to Ms Di Toppa from my counsel after their recommendation to seek a lawyer who address ligation. I did not seek her out. She wasted a ton of time, allowed my ex to walk all over me for weeks, and didn’t address anything. She proceeded to tell me she had prioritized my case as low needs and wouldn’t be able to address anything with any urgency. I was shocked that this was never passed on to me at any point, yet they were super rude when I asked why nothing was happening. If I could give them zero stars I would. Complete waste of time, money and allowed so much additional stress to be added to me. I can’t stress enough, avoid this firm. There are so many options you don’t need to settle for their treatment during an extremely emotional and stressful time.
