I hired Tim Hilborn for a real estate transaction and was very disappointed with the experience. Communication was slow, important deadlines were missed, and I often had to follow up multiple times to get basic updates. There was also unnecessary delays and stress. I expected a higher level of professionalism, especially given the fees charged. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this lawyer for real estate matters.

I noticed this week that Raz Cristache is at it again with another false review which he posted as of one year ago. It's old but warrants correction. In this review he says he was in a car accident in 2019. The only car accident I dealt with him regarding was in 2015. In his review he says I told him to take a $5,000 settlement. Inconsistent with that, in his old review that he took down he said in it that I tried to get him to settle for $10,000 and that he was likely going to get more than 10x that amount with his new lawyers. Finally, in his review of one year ago he says I had him delete his first review and told his lawyers he owed me money. What I also said to his lawyers was: "I would be more than happy to forego any such fees if Mr. Cristache will take down the negative review". So, now he has a new and untrue negative review up and he never paid my account despite, as he boasts, settling the case for "way more than he imagined." This is not an honourable fellow. For all of those people who are thinking of doing business with Raz Cristache: "Avoid at all costs, literally."

I left my previous will with Mr. Hilborn back in February '25 and have no communication since. I then requested my will back so I could go elsewhere to have a new one completed and have called 4 times, emailed twice, had someone stop into the office and nothing. It actually looks like my will is lost and no one will get back to me to clarify or confirm. Sad situation.
