We dealt with Tara Britnell at the firm and she is amazing, both as a person and as a lawyer. She is very understanding and right from the very first meeting we had, she was the perfect fit for us. Estate litigation can be emotional and Tara really cares and worked really hard for us but you can only do so much when the opposing side is uncompromising and as our legal bills mounted, and we weren't in a position financially to afford to pay upfront for a lengthy trial, we unfortunately had no choice but to make the difficult decision to part ways and represent ourselves.

Instead of just having us go our own way and that being the end of the relationship as most lawyers would have done, Tara showed us even more compassion and helped us further by arming us with the excellent prepwork and notes which she had worked so hard putting together and provided us with so much support and ongoing encouragement. We didn't think it was possible, but we somehow appreciated Tara even more after parting ways than when we first met and worked together over the years. We are so grateful to have met someone so humble and real and down to earth. Tara is a rarity in the field of lawyers.

Had Cathleen McClughan as the divorce lawyer for my daughter. Unfortunately she accomplished nothing over the year at a cost of plus $13,000. Poor in communication and in execution. Have now had to switch to another law firm and start the process again.
Extremely disappointed and would not recommend this firm to anyone.
