I have been in working in the business industry for many years. I believe the most important aspect of customer service is good people skills. On Friday I called the office in St Johns to inquire about a certificate that was sent in the mail to me, apparently on the 12 Nov. A certificate I need desperately.

The way this lady ( I use the word loosely) proceeded to help me was terrible. I believe she needs a crash course in customer service. If I could rate service below zero I would.

They said 5 days processing and I paid an extra $30 for fast shipping. It’s almost been a month now and when I call they told me 6 weeks processing. When I call it goes to an automated voice message that says “call again later. No one can be reached.” Then hangs up. Ridiculous

Vital stats in mt.pearl seems to be unable to provide accurate dates,names on their documents. They don't seem to believe the original parish sources when provided. Have never seen such shoddy service at a government office before.
