At this time, and for the ones who choose to read this review,I would like to say to say a few things which might help someone in need of legal help with WCB/Worksafe. From start to completion GKS was professional in every aspect.Everything was explained in detail, what they could do for my claim.They were very articulate clear and respectful when listening to my problems with my claim.A very long fight to say the least, going on 14 years.GKS was our choice to help finishing up our fight.Our file was given to Reisha, who was something very special when dealing directly with our situation.Only in time we my family see the true value on a legal note how incredibly capable of dealing with WCB/WorkSafe.After a very long and stressful fight,I received word this past week I had won my decision in a few different areas, not just one.This could have gone in a opposite direction, and been horror for my family.So how can one person say Thank-You,in a way which is very heartfelt.These are my thoughts and how I see and feel what GKS has accomplished on my behalf as well as my family.So if my words can help another person in need choose a law firm who will truly listen to you, and will take everything you say being a whatever needs to be addressed.Thank-You again to Gail and GKS Law firm.But for Reisha, truly no words to show your appreciation on the work you have done.Thanks

After my initial meeting with Lauren and being told to write to my MP if I'm not happy with the review process I decided to go to a new law firm. It's already been quite the process after getting poisoned by diesel exhaust fumes for over a month until I had a respiratory illness I've never had before. This company has been around for decades, what is a letter to my MP going to do? She never asked any questions the case, such as “do you have a working diagnosis.” She pretty much left me in the dark in a really tough time. Believe it or not I cried on the phone when I was told how long it might take. I am still navigating this disease and I learn more with every experience. When the wildfire smoke hit my town I was trapped inside my house and still got severe COPD symptoms. This is almost a year after the incident. Remember, before this jobsite I was completely unaware of the difficulties those with COPD/Asthma experience on a daily basis. I asked for my retainer back and I got $326.80 out of $1500. It shouldn't cost over $1100 for a call when other firms are giving free consultations. I currently have no income, so any money is extremely helpful right now. I’m using the food bank to eat… It doesn't take a lawyer more that 10-15 minutes to look at your file considering their profession consists of doing that all day long. I want my money back not a slap in the face for knowing I wasn't given proper legal guidance. They deleted my review on another profile. I figure I might as well show my face. I’m guessing I’m not the only one that got their review deleted. Fair warning for all those who choose to come to GKS.
