Ashely Gibson was opposing counsel in my fiance's divorce case.

First, for EVERY parent out there, Ms. Gibson is also a lawyer for the Office of the Children's lawyer. The lawyer who handled the case for the children in our situation did a few minutes of interviewing at each parent's house.

TELL YOUR CHILDREN THE TRUTH AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE ABLE TO MAKE A FULLY INFORMED CHOICE FOR PARENTING TIME. Make sure to tell your children the truth about the living options they have and that they can live equally with both parents for one week on and one week off.

Furthermore, she is also the AGENT FOR ALL PARTIES in our case. We have been awaiting a divorce order for AGES. We went to the courthouse to find out information and she HAS NOT EVEN HANDED IN THE PAPERWORK FOR IT YET.

Through out our entire case her client was blatantly negligent towards the children, even to the point mom was not taking child to orthodontist for his appointments, but tried to make it so no one could make appointments but her, and the child's brackets were completely falling off. The child had not seen the orthodontist since February 2023 and it was August when I, the step mother, finally had to bring him.

Mom ran away from the youngest son on her time because she wanted a free weekend. We told her we had plans and couldn't keep him and told her we would bring the youngest to her. She literally packed her stuff and left her house. Yet, Gibson was fighting so hard for this emotionally abusive mother to have full custody, yet claims to put best interests of children first.

DO NOT HIRE HER IF YOU WANT PROPER REPRESENTATION.

I hired Ashley Gibson in 2014 for a family law matter. Ashley cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars by not doing her job effectively and efficiently. She had numerous excuses month after month. Based on my experience with her, which lasted over a year, I found Ashley Gibson to be careless and condescending. Her assistant Ashleigh, failed 3 times to confirm court hearings and often did not have paperwork ready after promising it would be complete. Excuses, never apologies, were given.
The judge asked Ms. Gibson to provide a definition of the term "ancillary matters" and he gave her ample time to do so. Upon meeting with the judge again, much to my shock and frustration, Ashley Gibson had not done this simple homework. (which I was able to complete later that day.) This simple mistake cost me a lot of money. Ashley admitted her mistake to me but refused to file an appeal for fear it would look bad.
I fired her. Ashley Gibson recently had the police pay me a visit after I gave an unfavourable review on a social media. FIVE months ago on a site with other reviews on her and her firm. Ashley Gibson called it harassment and slander. A review site! Apparently only good reviews are welcome.
After providing to the police the review, I was informed I had indeed broken no laws.
This is my personal review and experience of dealing with attorney Ashley Gibson.

Had our wills done by Ms. Gibson and her staff. She was very professional and efficient. She made sure we had everything set how we wanted and gave us insight into things we didnt even consider.
Her staff was kind and sent the copy of the wills quickly. We had no need to make any adjustments.
It isn't a task people want to do, but it's necessary and I'm thankful it was a positive experience with her law office.
I'd highly recommend working with Ms. Gibson. We are so happy it was handled quickly and professionally.

My case has been one of the more difficult matters. Ashley has stuck with me through it all. Family court is difficult and timely and Ashley has given it to me straight everytime I've had a question. It wasnt always what I wanted to hear, but she knows the court process and what can and what can't be done and I appreciate her honesty. A great lawyer in my opinion and has helped me understand the very difficult process involved in family court proceedings.

Andrew is a smuck. How he holds himself in high accord is beyond me. He either purposely prolongs cases to make more money or is absolutely inept at being a lawyer. Himself and his staff are nothing but condescending, uncaring, and rude. Go elsewhere.

I obtained Ashley Gibson for a lawyer when I was going through a divorce and fighting for custody of my daughter. She is not very efficient and condescending. Apparently money talks to Ashley, She does not care what is right for the child. I obtained her through legal aid. I DO NOT recommend this lawyer at all.
