Excellent service!!! Dawson is knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and a delight to do business with. I had just purchased a new phone and he quickly set it up for me. He also answered all of my questions. The shop is well stocked so I was able to buy an accessory without having to go off island or order it online. I really appreciate being able to do business locally and highly recommend Salt Spring Tech & Treasures.

They took a deposit from me, couldn’t repair my device and because they have a no refund policy, I’m out $180. I’m so lucky to not have to pay the rest apparently.

No store credit offered, he did offer to help sell it on eBay for parts but I won’t be recommending them or going back.

I understand if a product can’t be repaired, technology can be problematic, and I would be ok for paying for their time and energy to diagnose and attempt to fix, but for me to walk out of there spending $180 on a deposit with them telling me I’m lucky they didn’t charge me the whole amount for something they didn’t do is a bit outrageous.

Would not recommend.

I had a great experience with Tech and Treasures. They were helpful, friendly and efficient. We needed a phone for a family member and they quickly set us up with a SIM card, pay as you go account and new screen protector, taking care of all the steps needed.
