I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Galbraith Family Law. From the outset, they assured me that my prenuptial agreement would be completed within one month. However, the process ended up dragging on for over five months due to their repeated failure to meet their own deadlines.

To make matters worse, every time they missed a deadline, I had to follow up with them, which not only added unnecessary stress but also led to additional charges on my bill. It felt like they were more interested in racking up fees than actually completing the work in a timely manner.

As if the delays weren’t bad enough, they made multiple errors in the final document, including spelling their own name wrong and misspelling my fiancé’s name. This happened not once, but three times, requiring them to redo the document each time.

I cannot recommend Galbraith Family Law and would strongly advise others to avoid using their services. The lack of professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for their clients' time is unacceptable.

Thousands and thousands AND thousands of dollars later (single mother with three kids who much rather keep her money than go through this process.. no choice) and NOTHING to then be told it’s best I sign to let my lawyer go for insufficient funds.. yeah of course I have no money left! It’s sad because this is now the second time at the same law firm that I feel pushed away, taken advantage of, and left confused, with no result no information and NO money.

I do not recommend this law firm, I genuinely feel like it’s all about the $$$ and sadly not about the family / person behind the situation.

This is my ex wife's firm, not mine.

Spelling mistakes on legal documents, intentionally prolonged communications for fiscal advantage, over the course of a year and a half.

My ex wasted 45k on these pirates. While I only used 10k (over 1.5 years).

Run.

I had the pleasure of dealing specifically with Mr. Shawn Knights and his legal assistant, Michele.
Although my particular case appeared quite straightforward on the surface it soon became rather complex as opposing counsel was extremely difficult to deal with.
Mr. Knights goal was to try and resolve this matter and avoid an expensive trial.
Although some compromising was required in order to accomplish this goal he explained in great detail the advantages of taking certain steps.
I initially used a different lawyer but unfortunately they were no match to deal with the hurdles being put in place by the applicants counsel. Mr. Knights was professional, patient and kept me fully informed throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Mr. Knights and Galbraith Law to assist with any Family Law matter.

Don't use this firm. They start out real good and pretend to be respectful of your money, but after 60k they send a 600$ disputed payment to collections and tank your credit score. Not to mention, they submitted a motion to court that the judge said was poorly written and was thrown out, but I still had to pay for it. As if this process isn't bad enough, now I have to fix my credit too.
