J'ai appelé ce bureau pour une affaire de divorce. La secrétaire m'a donné un rdv avec maitre sharp. Je l'ai rencontré et ses promesses étaient énormes. Quand je lui ai envoyé le montant du dépôt, il a manqué à l'appel. J'ai appelé plusieurs fois, la secrétaire dit qu'il n'est pas au bureau. Même son assistante ne réponds pas. Après plusieurs semaines d'attente, j'ai informé la secrétaire que je ferai une plainte, il m'a appelé pour me convaincre de rester. J'ai refusé. alors il m'a envoyé une facture et un chèque de 300. Perte de temps, d'argent et de confiance!
J'ai demandé à la secrétaire d'informer maitre galarneau, mais c'est lui qui m'a envoyé un courriel pour me dire qu'il m'a déjà montré comment faire une plainte.

I worked with Yasmin Abbadi at Galarneau and Associates on getting a separation agreement. Yasmin was so great, very understanding and very easy to communicate with and would get back to me promptly whenever there was an issue. The first meeting was in person which was very helpful in gauging who I was dealing with and then after that we were able to do everything digitally which was great for me as I don't live in Ottawa.

I came to her with a very difficult situation that seemed simple from the outset but was on a very strict deadline. My former partner very much complicated matters and much of the deal had to be renegotiated. Yasmin took care of all of this and went over and above to ensure to hold my former partner's lawyer to the deadline and was able to get everything completed in time.

I would very much recommend Yasmin to anyone in need of a family lawyer.

This firm is a complete scam. I hired Yasmin Abbadi to represent me for my divorce and she completely fail me. She did not advocate for me instead she let my ex husband lawyer take the lead on the case. We did a 4 ways meeting and we all agreed on things, she never prepared the agreement for my ex to sign, she wanted me to just take her words of mouth. It was after i pressure her for almost 3 months she finally prepared simple agreement and my ex refused to signed it since it was so late so he changes his mind. Now im back to square one, no results from her and she send me a bill for more than 6k for doing nothing, we never go to court or nothing. She is incompetent and unknowledable but she will pretend to be helping you at the beginning.

I took an appointment with Mr.sharpe to do a consultation during the meeting we agreed to count the consultation fees within the total amount for him to take the case.when I got home his office requested a deposit after I paid I received an invoice with an extra Increase as a consultation.when I tried to talk to them they denied. Eventually I got charged on top of the consultation fees, an additional $530 as a response and printing some papers.

Do NOT hire this lawyer! If it was possible to provide only a quarter of one star for Susan Galarneau, I would. I hired her for my child custody case, I was owed a lot of money. The first thing she did, was file the WRONG motion in court. All emails sent to me were full of factual errors as well as multiple spelling and grammar errors. She knew I was a night shift worker yet would request documents from me at 1pm with a deadline for submission of 4pm on the same day. When we went to court, my case was not heard because the Judge happened to be a good friend of hers and this caused a conflict of interest. As an experienced lawyer, she should have known this and rescheduled my court appearance. She did not. Furthermore, she transferred my case to one of her apprentices. I still was charged the fees for the court appearance. I was charged for multiple documents which had to be resubmitted because of HER errors too. After almost 3 years, I fired her and gave up. Lost thousands of dollars. Avoid at all costs!

Terrible experience with Sue, my aunt and I went to meet with this lawyer because my aunt was doing a reverse chip mortgage on her home in order to help me and my family purchase our first home and avoid CHMC fees. This lawyer was very rude to me, her assistant looked beyond unprofessional, the office was in complete disarray. She then said to my aunt if I were you I wouldn't do this and sign. My aunt was in complete shock.... As we had set everything up with another lawyer for our agreement to repay. I understand lawyers need to give there client all the facts including the bad. But to be personal and say If I was you this is what I would do..... You're not paid to say if I was you... You're paid to give accurate information. I have since spoken to the reverse mortgage company and they have removed this lawyer from there list to avoid having there future clients go through this terrible experience. Would never recommend or even speak to these people again.

We left there speechless, good news is we left and went to speak to another lawyer who was great and even agreed that this lawyer crossed the line. He even knew who we were speaking about. All said and done papers were signed and we will soon own our first home.
