Rude and arrogant can only be the words to describe the people I have encountered there. I was told to go here from band council and that they would be able to help me with obtaining employment help resumes and getting more knowledge by going back to school to pursue something that I could actually have a career in. So I tried to do that and got stonewalled by the program manager said that there was nothing that they could do to help me and I would now be red flagged. because I didn't find a job and would not be able to complete my course because I didn't have proper identification well Riley was aware of all of this prior to him enrolling me he said he was going to look into this course before enrolling me he did not do any of this he seems to be bothered at the fact he needs to do his job he got me to sign forms before anything was even set in stone before I even was accepted as well as I was supposed to receive living allowance I did not receive that either it was one big waste of time and money I spoke with the ministry regarding this and they said this is not what the funding they are provided is for I'm assuming they're using the funding for their special vacations that they are always on how are indigenous peoples supposed to get help when the people there need help themselves

Crossing the border- they have so many gates to accommodate many cars. The officers are patient and thorough and do a great job. Pleasant yet serious.

Thought this place was here to help definitely didn't get help got the runaround everybody's on vacation takes 3 days to get an email back asked politely three to four different times to actually speak with geralda she is never there tells you things that are not true the apatisiwin program is designed to help indigenous people she makes it very difficult to better your life when she doesn't get in contact with you plays games and is rude and ignorant this place needs a look at and an overhaul of their employees because they definitely do not do their due diligence very sad that they only care about themselves

This is a wonderful place. It's full of great people who want and do help pretty much any one who is in need. They go above and beyond their actual jobs to assist many many people in the Niagara Region, Fort Erie especially. They are willing to help everyone who asks, even non-indigenous folk. Thank you from the bottom of my heart FEFC

We attended a wrestling show over the weekend, the gym was BIG with more room, the bathrooms were very clean and the parking lot was big enough for the amount of people who attended the show! Looking forward to taking the kids again 🙂

We have belonged to the centre since I was a kid. It is a wonderful family gathering place. Check the newsletter for events and classes. So many important cultural and educational things happening every week! The Pow Wow is at the beginning of March. Everyone is welcome. I highly recommend all Indigenous people to come and get involved in your centre! Check out the website for the latest info.
