Jensen Cornelius, a pompous bylaw officer cannot do her job properly.

She has issued my family tickets for an order that did not exist. Somehow that is perfectly legal because she claimed it was an error on the Town's behalf and not her own. She is clearly not mentally or cognitively capable enough to do a job that SHOULD have consequences for a mistake so devastating.

My family has purchased cameras because of her frequent stops to our property. On camera you can see her looking at our property as if she is wondering what to send us an order about next. It is all at the whim of our drug dealing neighbour who has several bylaw infractions but funnily enough, nothing is done about it.

This harassment has caused me and my family great pain. Taking a law class should be a requirement for a demi-cop job like this. According to a bylaw officer's own rules, both parties are supposed to be satisfied. My family's voice has not been heard in every exchange we have had with this vile woman and the Town of Fort Erie.

If she is not fired, I will personally call the Town of Fort Erie and put her to work on bylaw infractions on Town property (there are plenty of those!). Me and my family are sick and tired of making sure we have large sums of money lying around for the Town (and therefore, Jensen's) wishlist.

Extremely disappointed. I used to feel happy and safe living in this area and now I no longer do. But apparently what's more important is what our neighbours want to do with OUR property.

We've been having problems with a neighbor that clearly violate the by-law, and were told by the police to phone by-law enforcement and they would help. A guy named John phoned us back and was completely rude..he didn't know the by-laws, made us look them up and read them directly off the Fort Erie site before he told us that it isn't a by-law.. he tried to talk over us, told us we were being rude, and then hung up on us for saying that he was being rude with us and not helping at all.. Lmao. He also told us that the By-Law "enforcement" doesn't enforce anything. Thanks for nothing!
