I used them to prepare documents when I bought a new place. They messed up the bridge loan which ended up costing me thousands of dollars more. It was impossible to try to get either this notary or the mortgage company to look into the issues. I never got an apology, only constant arguments. I had to call their office over and over for weeks. Terrible experience, would not use again.

***In response to owner - I was definitely a client, I will never forget the stressful experience. The owners response at the time was so frustrating, defensive and tone deaf that I would rather not discuss and relive the experience. I'm looking for a new notary to renew my mortgage documents now which is why this review is coming up.***

I Need to remove my name from the land title. It's super easy, just two piece of paper to be sumitted to BC Land Title Office with $71 fee. So I spent 15 minutes in preparing them by myself. The only thing left is to notarize my signature on the application form.
I phoned several Notary Public to make appiontment. They all tell me that the documents is very professional and must be done by them or Lawyers. The fee they charge starting from $699.
Yesterday, I walked in four Notary offices. All of them refused me ! One lady nicely remind me this is kind of their commom practice. "There is unlikely some one will notarize your signature. The fee is only $35." I appretiate she tell me the truth. So I decided to try two more Notary and then to give up to. I walked in Engman & Gunther Notary . Howard greeted me and have the paper done in a couple minutes. He even pointed out one subject I missed in my application form. Thank you Howard ! You made me believe there is always people with beautiful soul. Howard has been in Notary Puplic for more than 20 years. I also find out he is also a menber of respectful Rotary Club in which super nice business man & woman serving the community in many ways.
