Emily is amazing!
After several rejections of applying for a tourist visa, she brought my husband here. Quickly responds to emails; and takes good care of her clients, meaning she makes sure all of your questions are answered and there is no confusion. Listens to clients carefully and then advises accordingly. She will understand and really get into your situation, which i think is great, as thats brings success.
(I tried other lawyers, they only looked at us as a file number. They never tried to understand our issue, they only took our money, and a lot of it, never helped us)

Horrible experience. Incredibly bad and inconsistent communication over the years, absolutely no timely response or my questions would always go unanswered, a very unreliable lawyer. If you’re transgender and seek support applying for the asylum, search for other lawyers, because Smily would consistently misgender me, even during my own trial. She also never let me know that my first work permit went to her address instead making me wait an entire summer to receive my second work permit and then she treated it as some sort of joke. Absolutely horrible experience. I wish my money went to someone more respectful of their clients instead. I also asked her to be my guarantor and she literally didn’t let me know that she’s supposed to sign on my photographs and other documents, and have been unresponsive for two weeks again. Infuriating and unprofessional.
