I regret to say that my experience with Mel as legal counsel was deeply disappointing. Having worked with several lawyers over the years, I can honestly say that Mel fell far short of my expectations—particularly in areas of communication, transparency, and effective defense.

In my opinion, Mel did not act in my best interests during my case. I had serious concerns about his relationship with the prosecution and felt that decisions were being made behind closed doors that I was not informed about. At times, it seemed more like he was working against my defense rather than for it.

While he initially came across as attentive and invested in my case, that confidence quickly eroded. In my experience, he was not equipped or willing to take a case to trial, and I felt pressured into decisions that did not serve my interests.

This review is not written lightly—I share it in hopes that others will do their due diligence before retaining legal representation. Choosing the right lawyer can make a significant difference in the outcome of a case. I encourage others to consult with multiple attorneys and trust their instincts.

Mel is a pretty sad excuse for a lawyer. Read through him before opening his mouth. Assumes the opposite despite not knowing the full story, doesn't care to understand or listen. Had to bite my tongue from the first time seeing this guy, to the first time speaking with him. Many great lawyers... this one, isn't one of them.

If you ever get stuck with Alefia through legal aid, represent yourself. She obviously only cares about people who pay more. She showed up to represent me in court and didn't know who I was. She didn't even read the disclosure. I have asked and asked for information and she won't tell me anything. Either she's too busy or she doesn't care. Either way, you're better off on your own. I know I will be.

Alefia Represented me while I faced 5 charges and possible jail time. Honest, Practical and Determined. Alefia ensured I was given a fair Trial. Facing an uphill battle, she not only kept me out of prison. She mounted a defence so successful, all 5 charges were dismissed by the judge. Mel has been our lawyer for over a year now. he is still goes above and beyond. his practise is getting busier and busier(no doubt because he's a damn good lawyer) and he still responds to you quickly. he never leaves u hanging. not only is calm, professional and amazing he knows what he is doing. if you need a good lawyer who actually cares give Mel a call!

If you want a lawyer that cares and is good then call Mel. He did the nearly impossible for my son. This lawyer puts the time and effort into his clients and is just naturally good at what he does. You won’t be disappointed
