John East is the lawyer you NEED in your corner. My son was arrested on some very serious charges and was incarcerated as a result of this.

From the materials and information brought forward it seemed as though he was going to be detained for a lengthy time period. John was able to promptly schedule a bail hearing and was also able to win and get my son back home on bail.

In the courtroom he is confident, strong, and incredibly intelligent in the way he presents his materials and submissions. He is someone who prides his firm on quality over quantity and this shows both inside and outside the courtroom.

While my son was incarcerated John took time from his personal life and obligations to come to my home nearly 45 minutes away to discuss the case as I did not have any way of transportation. He met with me and did this on a weekend instead of drinking on a boat like most hot shot lawyers.

He takes the time to understand the client’s needs and goes above and beyond in delivery of his services. From the first point of contact after arrest to today when the matter is still ongoing in court, he takes the necessary time to explain what is happening and communicate with his clients.

Many lawyers will promise results yet keep you in the dark with where your matter is, but not him. If you need a criminal defense attorney in the province of Ontario, you should sincerely consider East Law for representation.

John East's cross examination of the Complainant was something to behold. He had complete control over the Courtroom, was confident, and persuaded the Judge the witness was neither credible or reliable. The witness looked so deflated at the end of it! I bet he regrets lying. Mr. East's communication was top notch - I can't thank him enough! He truly is an amazing lawyer. I was found not guilty! Thanks again!
