I was very disappointed with the receptionist at this law firm. She was unprofessional, lacked knowledge about basic processes, and couldn’t provide clear answers to simple questions. It felt like a complete waste of time. It's not the experience you’d expect when reaching out to a legal office.

I was extremely disappointed with the receptionist’s conduct. I was told a lawyer would call me to discuss a violation I wanted to dispute, but after 3–4 days without contact, I followed up several times. Instead of a clear answer, she mocked the situation in her native Punjabi language.

At no point did I ask for legal advice or discuss fees—I was simply following up as instructed. The owner’s response here misrepresents the facts. If this is how basic inquiries are handled, it raises serious concerns about the firm’s professionalism.

The worst out there, he literally does NOTHING for you but take your money then drop your case like a hot potato. He's a joke, if you can't tell by him claiming every bad review is from "A rival company!"

My common law husband was a client, not only did John Duncan not complete his paperwork for custody he didn't complete the divorce papers he was supposed to. Five years and a boat load of money later we were forced to do bankruptcy and THEY STILL AREN'T DIVORCED.

Rival company? Trust me, they don't have to slander you! You do a good job of it yourself! Whomever your rivals are, if they complete their paperwork they get my vote 👌🏼

My husband and I will be attending the court date, with all of his uncompleted documents and the horrible emails sent to him by this guy. Proof that we were a client makes us able to put this review. You want it removed? Offer to finish the divorce paperwork on your own dime. Until then it stays up to warn others about your inability to properly account for your own actions. It's pretty simple.

Last year was the hardest year for our family, with both my parents having failing health. With my mother needing life saving surgery in Vancouver, we needed to get our legal ducks in a row in case something happened.

Our first contact was Jon Duncan who showed great compassion and understood the urgency of our situation. We were referred to David Duncan, who was able to draft representation agreements for both my parents in record time. David and his assistant showed kindness to my mother, answering her questions and helping set her mind at ease.

Unfortunately, my father was not able to get his agreement signed before being admitted to hospital for an extended stay. David came to the hospital, at no additional charge. He sat with my father and took the time to go over the document in great detail, ensuring all of dad's questions were answered and making additions/changes as needed. He treated my father with dignity and left quite the positive impression.

We later had some legal documents to be signed and notarized for my father, for the second time as they were incorrectly drawn up to state my dad had signed them in BC. it's to be noted that they were not drafted by Duncan and Associates. With my dad in a care home and some other obstacles, David ensured that the new documents were drafted correctly and again made a trip to my father to have the signing witnessed and notarized. Their office took care of sending the documents to the lawyer in Calgary for us. The turnaround time from first point of contact was less than 2 weeks, which was astounding.

The staff have always been helpful and transparent. We were made to feel valued, regardless of being a relatively small account.

Terible. Belive these bad reviews. I thought well maybe it was a one off experience. Ive now witnessed it for myself. When you call every lawyer in the PG area and they are the only ones with an opening theres a reason. Just wait if you can.

From 2021 to 2024 I spent over $30,000 for Mr. Gallant to incorrectly name a defendant and continually forget the content of the case. When I repeatedly asked that he bring my matter to trial, he refused to discuss moving forward, insisting instead on sending me a letter reiterating what had already been discussed. When I objected, he said he would no longer represent me. I was given a summary file that included an original document pertaining to another client. As soon as he became aware of the embarrassing document leak, Mr. Duncan pretended that he wanted to take over my case, asking for a new retainer and the return of the other client’s document. I returned the other client’s document and without further discussion was notified that Mr. Duncan had changed his mind about helping me any further.

His integrity and honesty is appreciated and was very apparent throughout all his work.
