Now I have to qualify this review by saying that the work they did on my car was close to 8 years ago, but it doesn't make it any less true. When our car car needed to make a sharp turn, there was something that was just not right in its response. Mind you, we drove it up from NYC with this issue so it wasn't critical. We dropped off the car to Docherty's to look into it. At the end of the day, they called us to say they fixed the issue. We came in to pick it up thinking it was something small. The bill was over $1300 which was about how much our car was worth. They made no effort to call us and ask if this was something we wanted done or provide us with the opportunity to look for a second opinion.

Took my car in for an alignment and for them to look over to find what the knocking noise was. They couldn't do the alignment (made sense why) until a new control arm was put on. However, they also said my 2 front struts were leaking and had a lot of play, which is why they were shaking. I never said anything about shaking. The car was absolutely not shaking. I decided to go elsewhere since those 2 front struts were just put on brand new 4 weeks ago and checked for play 2 weeks ago. The next place I took my car checked them and said they were in excellent shape. For mechanics that always have their parking lot full, it makes me wonder how many others they lie to. They may look busy and actually be busy, but they certainly tried to lie to me. Likely thought I wouldn't know the difference about any of the parts on my car or the work I JUST had done. Go elsewhere if you can! Also, the knocking noise had nothing at all to do with the control arm either. They didn't even diagnose that issue.

Waited a very long time for anyone to acknowledge and wait on me. Told that I would have to wait 2 hours before my alignment would be done. Came back at 3 had to wait another 15minutes before someone came to give me the bill. No paperwork on the adjustment just a receipt, and the wheel is still out of alignment. Heard amazing things about this establishment but very disappointed with the customer service I received.

Always busy and if you set an appointment like for example, they will tell it will be done this day/tomorrow, its a big joke. Always delay. Always have an alibi. Not prioritizing what comes first. This is all based on my personal experience. Seriously.
