I had occasion to use Davidson & Williams LLP (specifically Murray Pritchard) to handle an Estate, Grant of Probate Application, a real estate sale for the estate, and finally a personal Will and related documents. Murray and his assistants were knowledgeable, very prompt, professional, and friendly. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to friends, neighbors, family, co-workers. After my husbands car accident and brain injury, nothing stayed the same. While I was are grateful he was still alive, the life that we once knew was over.
Initially after the accident we saw a different lawyer. After 18 months he told us he felt our case was more serious than he had originally thought. He felt we needed to use a lawyer who had more experience with brain injuries to this extent. He recommended Steven to us.
We met with Steven a couple weeks later. He explained what he does for his clients, how he would help us through the process and how he genuinely cares about his clients. When we left the first meeting my husband said “that guy would make a great car salesman, no one is that good”. Steven really is.
In the beginning, as we were building our lawyer/client relationship, I was surprised by how he remembered to put us in a dimly lit room because my husband is so light sensitive. I was impressed that he would email just to see how he was doing. But as time went on, I realized that is just the person he is. If my husband was upset about something unrelated to the case he would drive to our house and calm him down. If there was a specialist he needed to see and I couldn’t take him, he did. Steven got to know us as people. He didn’t just see us as his clients. His staff and the people he uses for experts are amazing. After seeing a lot of specialists after the accident you realize there are a lot of doctors who will disappoint you but the ones he found for us to see were fantastic. When the insurance company fought hard, he fought harder. This allowed us to focus on moving forward, work on dealing with everything else and learning how to navigate our new life knowing that we didn’t have to worry about that part.

Our case is over now and he still checks in to see how we are doing, how things are going and he still offers to help.
I have not referred to Steven as Mr. Florendine for one simple reason. Through this whole process we have realized that he is not just a lawyer, he is a friend.
