Doesn't answer his emails, and can't be reached on the phone. Is more concerned with photo ops. He stuffs his face and pockets, while pretending to work. He doesn't care about anything but himself. I feel bad for Canada, and his family. He is teaching his children, that theft is okay. As long as you are a politician. He barely works, and doesn't go to the office unless he has to.

Mr. Fisher does not seem to care about the welfare of seniors.
I have tried on two separate occasions to discuss the abandonment of a senior by an employee of a FOR PROFIT health care company that resulted in the death of a senior.
I know that his automatic reply went to my spam folder, with my second email, but do not know if the same happened with my first email.
I would like to see the laws changed regarding abandoning seniors and the fact that FOR PROFIT Health care companies are regulated by business laws and not healthcare laws.

After receiving Mr Fisher's reply, I want to state that the incident occurred in a private residence, the police were contacted at the time and my husband and I met with our MLA shortly after the incident happened.
I just want someone who can help to listen to what we have to say. and not be ignored by the people who should be able to help in some way.

Public apologies: IMMIGRATION MATTER.

Honourable Darren Fisher,
I want to address to you my public apologies. Why? I posted a one-star review under the effect of a feeling of injustice.
Here is the story of injustice:
In 2011, I had a metacarpal fracture where I could see the shape of my bones opening. I had two screws in my hand for a few months. The pain that I felt then was less than what I feel today every second because my significant other can't get a visa to Canada rapidly. The fact that she can't get a visa quickly makes me stop my immigration journey here, go back to my country, and wait with her. I am a high-level bilingual, a Master's degree holder from one of the best European schools, graduated with distinction, manager, musician and joyous man.
She is also a decorated corporate manager and works with a big firm that makes the Internet safe. She expressed her frustration and both of us started having acute physical symptoms of our mental challenge.

Honourable Darren Fisher, it is painful that Permanent Residents can't wait with their spouses abroad while they are waiting for a decision. Europeans don't have that problem because they can come to Canada without a visa. Please do something to allow Permanent Residents to wait with their spouses abroad: some may really need that compassion from you.

Honourable Darren Fisher, I am sorry about the one-star before, and I am giving four stars so that I don't look too suspiciously apologetic. It's in our tradition to apologize publicly.
Your office returned my calls. Which is fantastic.

My advice is that something has to be made for people waiting for a visa.
The cultural shock is already huge!
I thank Canada for being so nice to me and opening all the doors for me. Even when I thought about demonstrating in the streets, people were there to help.

May kindness always prevail in darkness,
Amen,

Darren Fisher, député - Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

"A Liberal government will legalize marijuana. The NDP wanted to decriminalize it, now they’re not sure what they want to do. To ensure that we keep marijuana out of the hands of children, and the profits out of the hands of criminals, we will legalize, regulate, and restrict access to marijuana. Will the NDP continue allowing criminals to fund their activities with revenue from marijuana?" facebook post
