WARNING: Sketchy, Not truthful, Illegal business practices (please see law about lawyers requiring to notify about charging fees and the commencement), Unorganized, Use scare tactics, Do not reply to customers.
If you want to call them, make sure you are ready to pay $250/hour for the second they pick up the phone and $250 for every email you send.
I've worked with 9 lawyers, but no one ever like this. Do NOT TRUST
I called to inquire about a legal issue I was having, to which lawyer said he would look at my case and provide me a consultation on if there is a possible outcome. Was instructed to send email of any evidence. Lawyer replied with 150 word version of "Try this and if it doesn't work - contact us".
- Fees were never discussed or agreed upon
- Was never told we were entering an agreement or fees would be charged (illegal)
- Advice given was not any form of legal action or an offer to participate
They sent me an invoice 2 months later for $250 for "reading emails" 2 Emails under 400 words!
After replying and disputing invoice, lawyer replied back with "Your file is closed, you do not value our services" but I'm still receiving invoices. After trying to dispute invoice as per the letter sent to me by the lawyer, they did not reply to 9 emails over 8 months, 6 phone calls over 8 months but 10 months later I receive an email saying "We have sent this to collections"
