Absolutely disgraceful and abusive demeanour from one of the ladies named K Lewis impersonating as government employee working in this so-called “Professional collection agency”.
It does not conforms to acceptable standards of morality or respectability.
With all due respect, please pass this review to the manager of this company for awareness.

you guys must feel real proud of yourselves, your gonna fight on behalf of canadian tire to get a whole 4000 dollars that I owe them and threatening to garnish my wages directly from my work and seize my property beacuse of a dam credit card.....my mother in law passed away and I've inquired all of her debts and yes, i had to take loan after loan just to go be with her for the last 2 months of her life just so she wouldnt have to die alone considering she lived over an hour away from me...im sorry that i got behind and everything piled up but you guys dont care about the full picture, you think I'm living a lavished life or something, I can barely afford to eat let alone pay a credit card....ohhh I forgot I live in Canada where the billion dollar companies get rich off the low class poor people. don't you think if I could afford to pay it I would? oh that's right you only believe what the paycheck that pays you .... disgusting...you literally have no regard to human life....you don't even care to look at the whole situation of why I can't pay theses debts , like I said you only care about your paycheck and canadian tire paid you guys to ruin my life so hey why not right. you tell me what I'm supposed to do cause now because of this, I'm gonna lose my job and get evicted....every cent I make has to go to either bills , groceries, or gas in my car...so again I ask, what should I do at this point. the way I see it is I got 2 options, I either hang myself or rob a bank... but then again, thats probably exactly what you guys want.....must feel real proud of yourselves knowing that ruined someone's life over credit card debt....oh wait you do. the fact of the matter is yes I'm in debt and yes I owe them money but no, you should not be able to shut down my life because of it.... it's credit card debt like Jesus. everybody goes through something in there life whether it's large or small but in the end , when a law firm will fight for the corporations and not the people, you know our country has gone down the crapper especially when all they see is there dam paycheck in the end. and don't try and say something stupid like " I'm sorry for you loss " or something, cause your not, I can clearly see your position on human life, you live for yourself and thats the bottom line....you went to law school for how long just beacuse of what you can get out of it....again pretty disgusting, thanks for ruining my life

Some lady called telling me she is with the government of Canada Debt collections and I owe a debt. If I don’t pay her right away by credit card she will be sending court services to my house within 48 hours to serve me for court! What a joke! I explained that this debt was paid for months ago. I asked some simple questions about the debt that she couldn’t answer. She was a bully and very threatening! I honestly was questioning if this was a scam.
First off she was LYING second I should have called the police because she was impersonating a government employee! This company should close down before YOUR taken to court!
FYI I called the original debtor and straightened everything out. Now they keep calling me from different numbers! Absolutely ridiculous.

Got a phone number from one of the major carriers. Turns out it is the previous number of someone with outstanding debts. I keep getting calls from the St Catharine​s office of Credit Bureau Services Canada. Every time, the same story: a promise to correct their records and to stop calling my number to reach this other person. No action is ever taken. Ultimately this is the fault of the company's ownership/management. Correcting the records is not a corporate priority. Today I returned a voice mail message from CBSC within 90 minutes of the original call, and the person who left the message couldn't remember who she had called and actually expected me to spell the name of the person she had been trying to reach. I don't know how to spell the name and I pointed out that CBSC possesses that information not me. The person on the phone was very aggressive and had no respect for the continued wasting of my time. I expect to continue to receive calls because Credit Bureau Services Canada is clearly incapable of correcting its practices.

Called me multiple times leaving a message asking for someone I've never heard of. Not a big deal, it happens. I've patiently called back and explained it each time. What should NOT happen, though, is one of your employees (Cathy) getting aggressive and confrontational after I got yet another call today and was explaining it again cordially - especially considering it's probably the 3rd time I've spoken to her in the past 2 months to explain YOUR mixup.

If this is how rude your employees are to people taking time to help you clear things up when YOU are making a mistake, I'd hate to see your etiquette towards people owing a debt. Welcome to the blocked number list.

I worked with some J Newport lady... she claims shes been working at this place for 40 years but im having to explain to her how ive alrdy paid this debt off years ago and i have the recite in my hand... she says i should pay them anyways and try to get a refund from where i paid the loan directly. I had to argue with this lady to be able to send her an email with the recite all she wanted was for me to fax.. who still uses fax these days? At the end of the transaction i requested that she would email me just stating what has taken place today so i dont need to call back in. refused to send any sort of acknowledgement via email. said its up to me to protect the letter shes sending me that its like gold and goes on trying to give me life advice... end result very unprofessional from start to end

I doubt in general that people enjoy dealing with collections, however, there is a way to deal with clients who owe money. This company is by far the worst of the worst. Threats like no other, intimidating language, terrible communication skills. Absolutely not willing to make arrangements with you. I was actually told that I was lucky that Covid is affecting things right now, otherwise I would be in court. I’ve been paying my credit card religiously and not in small increments and god forbid you hit 29 days, they will call and intimidate you further. I’d be surprised if the person on the other line knew how to smile. You are calling people who have clearly been through a tough time. A little compassion goes a long way.
