Awful service. They don’t answer the phone, and don’t open the door at 1:30 when it opens after their 1.5 hour lunch. Appalled that this is a government office in the manner they conduct themselves as public servants. Service is 0 out of 100.

As most have mentioned in their reviews. The women behind the counter are extremely rude, flippant and unhelpful. Just weird attitude to have when dealing with people who are going through it.

I was told by St Pierre RCMP to come here to file a protection order. I arrived this morning and was appalled at how I was treated by the girl behind the glass. She had long blonde hair and wore glasses. She wouldn’t let me even explain my situation, just kept interrupting me, while belittling me. I am in an unsafe living situation, and scared for what can happen next, thinking I could come to your office and get the support I need, but instead left feeling very discouraged. It’s staff like her that make people like us beaten to death because we reached out for help and got nothing.

Called in to ask a question, as I was advised by two dispatch locations only to be spoken to as though she couldn’t be bothered to do her job.

“I’m returning your call.”
“I don’t know why the detachments send you all here. I deal with domestic and peace bonds only. I can’t help you so stop calling.”

As a long time customer service representative, I’ve never experienced such horrific attitude. If you don’t want to do your job, leave.

Went to the Steinbach Court House and there was a sign on the door said that between 12:30 and 1:30pm was a lunch break and no one would be available at the desk. It was 1:50pm and there was still no one there, I was waiting for a couple of minutes before someone came out carrying a container of food wearing yoga pants and a bright colored sweater. They did help me to acquire a form for a Peace Bond and tell me a little of what it was about, but when I asked how I would be able to get in contact with a lawyer they did not give me an answer.

A government office building of any kind should always have an employee available and they should be dressed appropriately, yoga pants are not office appropriate.

I'm a person of visible minority. I went to the office today (March 15, 2022 around 11:30am) to enquire about the small courts claim procedure and whether or not I can file it at this office. The staff (she) was very unprofessional and rude - need some serious training or counseling for her attitude. Living on tax-payer money and showing such attitude, doesn't make sense at all. If she has a bad day, she should stay at home.

I'm a public servant as well (Govt. of MB employee), and I'll never treat anyone like this - regardless of their colour, race or gender. I wish there was no star option.

Receptionist not friendly. Looking down from high loft. What can you du? Government employees. "Public servant" whom we are paying.

The rudest lady in there at the ticket counter. If I EVER have to pay a ticket again. I will most definitely drive all the way into the city. No need to talk to people the way she did. And then wouldn't even answer any questions. Saying "It doesn't matter". Wow.
