Don't waste your time. It takes weeks to get someone to help with landlord issues, then she doesn't show up for phone appts or cancels when you're waiting on the appt or keeps you waiting on her call for up to an hour. I'd follow up with calls or emails as she never did. Very hard to get in touch with her. It's common for weeks to go by and not hear. After complaining to manager there he took a week to return my call. They then said nothing more they could help me with so they were closing my case. Gave me links to file my own complaint. I thought that's what she was helping me with. Totally useless and waste of time with these people.

Unbelievably rude woman working the call centre today. No empathy, giving false information. I was directly referred here by one of their own volunteer lawyers and told they could help. The call centre girl was confused about what I needed help with and eventually hung up the phone on me. Better off to just do a google search but you won't find much help in Alberta unfortunately.

Absolutely no kindness or regard for the issue of my adult son with severe and untreated PTSD. And a cognitive frontal lobe issue. Due to his age, I have absolutely no rights, even with signed permission from him and he needs to be in a hospital for stabilization
We have been going in circles for three years in this city, trying to get help.

The woman answering the phone obviously had not heard anything I said regarding his difficulty in calling himself. And that we are in despate need of assistance.

She interupted me within the first 30seconds to ask his age, then continued to ignore my repeated attempts to describe why he is unable to call. She was rude, harsh and uncompassionate toward the 3uear struggle. Abruptly hung up without even offering advise from the lawyer.

And wonder why there is such a thing called war? Please understand that this type of unprofessional treatment and pre-judgment of one's actual needs, is completely unacceptable. For anyone, anywhere, in any type of need.

An example of humanity. Very disappointed and left hanging. I will continue my on-going struggle with this disgusting system of law, medical and non-justice for victims of crime.

I do not recommend any real solution for many in this city with similar stuggles.

There is no off ramp for us. Round round we go!

They are not helpful at all. Had 4 appointments canceled. No warning or anything. Took them a month from first appointment to get ahold of me. And almost screwed me for court
