Outdated policies and behaviour towards parking policies and offences. Prime candidate to save the city money by getting rid of them and replace with AI. I don't know how a city like Waterloo is so bad with services like this.

- bylaw cares if neighbor’s downspout is extended such that it drains water into your land
- bylaw doesn’t care if neighbor builds elevated cement walkway next to the middle swale and puts pressure of draining water onto your side of the land

This is the worst by law you can encounter, they just extract rental licensing fees but do nothing in exchange. My neighbor's place is a dump with garbage overflowing and blowing on to our property. We have placed complaints numerous times and the officer is too comfortable to do anything about it or to ever follow up even though we requested follow-ups. Again nothing is being done only when it comes for them to collect their checks from us and pay for the $1,000 rental licensing fee. If you raise a concern everybody gets very rude on the phone and try to abort you. Something needs to be fixed here and it has to happen immediately because this cannot continue this way.

Lol an officer walked in my backyard pushing door saying you got to have a new lock as anybody can walk in to your yard. If you don’t by end of day then you would be fined. I asked what about the people who don’t have fenced yards and anyone can get in? He said i don’t care about it and went away. Jokes

I have complained via T/C, Email and through Council about illegal parking on my street from Renters. Nothing has been done these last 5 years. The neighborhood is deteriorating rapidly due to allowing residential homes be converted into Rental units. Does the City even care ? I am beyond disgusted. Homeowner.

Waterloo by law is the worst. We placed multiple complaints and nothing's being done about it. I guess their officers can't be taken out of their comfort zone while they're driving around drinking Coffee. I'm truly disappointed in Waterloo bylaw. Their officers do not follow-up or do anything to resolve our issues.Just collect fees for rental licensing and do nothing in return.

I live at Weichel st. I really appreciate you give our house notice for not cleaning sidewalk snow. Since 3 days no snow remover truck came in our area our street still have snow. No salt on weichel st. Any tickets to u guys Nah please come again i will not clean my sidewalk untill u dont clean roads.

Helpful and professional group of staff. Alot of people don't like Bylaw, or any type of enforcement. They're just people doing their job. Show some respect and you'll get it in return. Keep up the great work guys!
