No vehicles over 20 feet in length allowed in the city, well, at least not for more than one hour. Get off the ferry and get gone seems to be the mandate to all tourists. Perhaps the rich can buy their way around it. I appreciate the desire to ward off hooligans, but telling everyone to get lost is not the answer. I know where I'm not welcome, and clearly, I'm not welcome in Powell River.

An amazing little town and the people rock! Spent the evening at the bowling ally pub and the zoo across the street. If it did not take two ferries to get back to Vancouver, I would be looking for a place to live there right now.

Love the city. Quiet and people are friendly. Only downside is that the ferry is the only way of transportation out of the city.
