Recently the City sent their Arborist and landscaping team ( Alex and Andy) et-Al. The removed a diseased tree and ground the trunk below ground level. A New Magnolia ( Yellow Blossoms) replaced the past tree. A new site was selected- a large hole was vacuum dredged and new soil dumped on. The following day the replacement was installed - braced - and topping dressed!!! It was Poetry in Motion!! Very professional in every aspect. Thanks Ken & Helen - Forest Grove Properties C/R.

Visiting from the lower mainland of Vancouver for 3 nights. Found this charging station behind the Operations and Capitol Works building at City Hall with a Public Parking sign. Like most city halls we assumed we could plug in so we did and went for a coffee. When we returned somebody had unplugged my car. So we plugged back in and went for another walk downtown. When we returned someone had unplugged us again. Turns out it was Steve at the Operations building. He thought that was a nice thing to do. How absolutely rude to treat your visitors this way. There is no sign saying no public parking. The sign is actually a Public Parking sign. Do better Steve. I mean seriously? What’s the point in unplugging the car? I’m still parked there.

The staff in both the planning and building department are very knowledgeable and awesome to deal with. As a residential designer, the local municipality for each jurisdiction we design in (in this case the campbell river municipality) play a key role during the design process for each design we do. Jennifer Barber, Ruth and Erin have been a great help on my projects!!

Worst snow removal I’ve ever seen. Literally plowed over three feet high of ice in front of my driveway and I’m unable to get into it now because it’s frozen, rock solid. Thanks Campbell river 😡

The bike rack is in possibly the most ignorant place possible. You have to go down a flight of stairs to access it.
