Today I went to City of Airdrie for applying basement permit. I tried sending the floor layout drawings , but couldn't make it. Hailey helped me to Submit online. I am very impressed to her patience and enthusiasm. Thank you very much Hailey !

Enjoyed a positive activity at city hall, with level headed , compassionate councillors led by Mayor Peter Brown.

The requested bylaw to help our family live and support each other by building another house on the 4 acre estate property , shows the kind of city Airdrie is.

Airdrie is a Progressive, family oriented, forward thinking and compassionate community.

1. The City of Airdrie does NOT allow to have hygienic toilet shower in your own home. For example - City of Calgary doesn't care, like others! 2. If you are out of home for 8 months or longer the City of Airdrie still will charge you for all utilities even you shot off water line and no one does your garbage, you still pay in full!

I have many bones to pick with the City of Airdrie after spending a weekend here. Please promptly assess these issues:

1. The city is not very walkable. After a night of binge drinking, and only being 2km from our car in the morning, we had to meander through fields, snow and highway shoulders to navigate to our vehicle. Very few sidewalks. This is located in the attempted city centre area. Unacceptable.

2. The Horseman motel is very clearly a drug laundering front. Clean it up.

3. Sheet 1 at the local curling rink had 2 mismatched rocks, making it difficult for us to win our match. Please review and match all rocks.

4. For a town with seemingly unlimited space to grow, there is never anywhere to park. Please add multiple new parking lots and parking structures.

5. People that live here claim it’s a 15 minute drive to downtown Calgary. All residents are delusional liars. This requires a complete culture overhaul from top to bottom in Airdrie leadership.

6. There used to be a Swiss Chalet here, and now I notice it’s out of business. This was an upper echelon establishment. How could the residents not support this, when there are seemingly no decent restaurant options here. Be better.

7. There was a really sketchy lady named Rachel that tried to have an affair with us during our night out. Please look into her behaviour.

8. The water from taps looks, smells, and tasted rancid. Where is the source of the water, the landfill

9. Most locations smell like cigarettes. It’s a nasty habit. Please make cigarettes illegal.

10. The bar we like to go to has really good PBR. But the keg stopped working and we had to switch to another beer. It’s been 24 hours since being fixed. This is critical.

Overall we had a great time in Airdrie. A+ weekend.

We went in today to license our dog, we were confused and unprepared to say the least, but thankfully Hailey was extremely helpful and understanding and patient and it was a painless process! She is lovely
