Run from this law firm! It’s a revolving door and a horrible place to take your legal matter or work as a lawyer. They can’t keep any of their lawyers. Really high turnover rates!

For clients: really poor representation that result in padded time on bills with very little advancement or results. Completely out of touch with reality, no clue what’s happening on files, rely on law clerks but take credit when billing you. Mistakes and mishandling of files that spend clients’ money.

For lawyers: mistreatment, manufacturing misery. Don’t be fooled! No wonder nobody will stay. Really bad culture at this law firm!

They have a reputation among other lawyers for being horrible to deal with,—being overly aggressive, yelling and shouting, grandstanding, acting without consequence or foresight and putting on performances that just wastes clients’ money and delays things. Also, watch out for the old white-haired soft spoken one. Just horrible!

My justification for this review.

I was doing a Refinancing on my mortgage. My mother is on with me and needed to sign she lives 6 hours away from me.

I had a law firm near me do all the leg work and just needed my mother to come in to sign the documents saving her the 6 hour drive in the winter.

Once my mother had signed the required documents what took very little time, as I did the same process at law office near me. I was slapped with a $791 bill from this office.

My law office and I where shocked and tried to find reason why the cost was so high. I personally tried to contact lawyer an find out why. I was rudely told the lawyer would not budge on his fee and I would have to pay it.

The next day I emailed the lawyer and thanked him for his reasoning an apologized for any miscommunication and offered if he could lower his fee from 2 hours to 1 hour being 350 instead of 700. For his hour of time the signing took.

I could not believe the lack of proper business practice this firm conducted them selves in. They would not meet in the middle leaving me with a outrageous fee for work completed.

I would have happily taken my business else where, as I highly recommend you do to.
