I had a very disappointing consultation with Senior Associate Glenn Laughlin regarding a Family Law matter. Instead of providing the clarification I asked for, I was met with a dismissive and aggressive attitude — including remarks that it was essentially my fault for choosing to have children with my ex-spouse. I was also given incorrect information about special or extraordinary expenses. I wasn’t looking to start litigation, just to have my questions answered, but I left feeling gaslighted and unheard despite paying for the consult. Based on this experience, I strongly do not recommend Centra Lawyers.

Things started off well until months later we randomly receive an invoice charging us for exchanging emails that was 3 months ago. We learnt that it was on their end that one of their staff had missed this "email correspondence fee" but it was extermly frustrating to be passed around multiple staffs to find out the reason behind this invoice. Even though the invoice was not at all a big amount, it was stressful to had them ensure that no future invoice or hidden fee will arise.
