Beautiful lookout. Paved parking lot leading to a crushed gravel path to the lookout. We had a stroller and used it no problem. Nice little stop when you’re going through the area!

My husband and I visited the Captain James Cook statue while driving through Corner Brook on June 5, 2024. Seemed like lots of turns to wind our way up to it from the Trans Canada. It is a bit of a walk to the Statue if you have mobility issues (I have arthritis in my knee), but it's worth the view from up there. Also there are many informative plaques explaining his history. A beautiful view of the Humber River and the city of Corner Brook.
