I’d like to start out, that never in my life have I taken the time to write a review. I hired this firm to handle a simple separation. They drug it out over a year. Charged me in excess of over $20,000.00. They had a student at law handle my case. I finally decided to release them as my council, and hired a new law firm. Not only did they wrap things fast. I ended up paying a fraction of what my settlement was supposed to be.

Absolutely disgusting service I spent 20000 to lose every battle and end up homeless. I am disabled and she didn’t take any of my concerns seriously, I had to start taking things into my own hand because I almost ended up with zero income because of her inability and inexperience of the family law system. After dealing with another firm who we fired we found Callioux Law. We were helping our son deal with a stressful case in regards to Guardianship, Custody and Divorce. We started speaking with Bob and Ryan who took the time to listen to what we were dealing with and then assigned the appropriate Lawyer to our case. Zac and Brianna were nothing short of amazing. They listened, they understood and they advised accordingly. Was it inexpensive? No it wasn’t, were they worth every penny? Absolutely! For those thinking that dealing with childrens best interests and divorce is a short process, you need to understand that it takes time! We have been with the firm for over a year and our case is fully complete, doing anything through the courts takes time especially when it is not an easy open and shut type case. Please remember that in the end the judge makes his or her judgement, your lawyer can do their absolute best but ultimately the final verdict is up to the judge, and you need to be open and give your lawyer every single detail without hesitation, they can not do their job if they are sideswiped by opposing council because they were not told the entire story but only what you wanted them to hear.
I would with confidence recommend Cailloux Law, they are competent and thorough, they are there to do a job and that is to represent you to the best of their ability, they are not there to become your friend but they are genuine and supportive and will be with you every step of the way. Thank you is all we can say to Zac and Brianna, you were exactly what we needed through this very difficult and uncertain time.

I was first presented with the lawyer sharmeen bantra. who was a referral from a friend and she was great. I was then forced to change lawyers due to her moving and no longer practicing law in Alberta, I was referred to asha Fritz. Who was a complete waste of time and money, she used and abused me and was completely F’n useless. Do not recommend, taking over a month to respond to emails, constantly wanted me to agree to terms I didn’t agree with. And when I fired her and changed lawyers. It was found out that she didn’t submit or take any of the major important documents I sent into any consideration, 10/10 useless. Thanks for nothing.
