We heard about CAJ from a previous customer who suggested Dara as they went through a similar Landlord issue we are where she "moped the floor with the Landlord".
We paid the $500 fee to represent us for a Bad Faith N12 and another separate $500 to represent us for an T6. For months we emailed our evidence to Dara, she only communicated through rare emails with false promises as we noticed NONE of our evidence was submitted to the LTB Portal. She promised she would "have it covered and doesn't want to scare us". 2 weeks before the trial the evidence STILL wasn't submitted, her boss Pamela called us to sooth our worries saying she trusts Dara. The day before the trial she finally called us to say she "N12s are hard to fight but I'll be with you the whole time and to not worry."
During the trial we found out through the Adjudicator that we have no evidence submitted about our Landlord threatening and yelling at us on camera or his refusal to do proper maintenance. During the trial, Dara did not press questions about the other houses the Landlord personally owns. During my trial she asked me "do you know what an N12 is?" which I explained what it was only to be talked down to by the Adjudicator when an appropriate question she could have asked is "what led up to us recieving an N12?"

We feel like we got sabotaged by Dara and severely misrepresented!

If you use CAJ I do recommend hiring Pamela as she actually appears to know her job.

TLDR: Paid double only to be misrepresented during a trial.

I had horrible tenants who took advantage of the backlog and refused to leave.
I only own this house due to accepting a work contract up North and had rented it to a friend who needed help (ooo the irony!)

DO NOT do your own paperwork, have the professionals at CAJ like Pamela and Dara take care of it for you.
I can only commend there professionalism in dealing with my situation of couch surfing until my home was available after nearly 15 months.
CAJ had it solved in 6 months.

Best advice :
1) Never rent
2) If you have to rent and have uncooperative tenants abusing the loopholes our 'amazing' LTB allows, then please call CAJ Paralegals.
