The service or lack thereof is horrible. Can't reach them by phone, emails don't get responded to. When you do reach someone your question is never answered. Outstanding issues for almost 2 years with no movement on a file is unprofessional and totally unacceptable. Would definitely recommend staying away from any services they provide.

My beloved aunt passed away and Butler Wills and Estates was the keeper of her Will to which I was an Executor of, this is how I came to deal with this place.

I arrived for my first appointment with Chelsea, to a no show! She was "out doing errands and should be back soon" according to Lynn. I was then advised that I could come inside to wait for her - where I was met by a large vocal German Shepherd. This was very intimidating but thankfully I am not fearful of dogs. As I entered the porch and had a quick glance down to remove my shoes, but all I could see was dirt and dog hair, so I left my footwear on, even though this office is in a house. And no I'm not prudish to dogs, I own a German Shepherd myself!!

I walked up the steps, where I was met by a sight that was teetering on the verge of a hoarders home. What an awful state of an house/office - everything was piled on top of everything. The dining table, was in the living room as a makeshift office desk, and was full of dirt, dust and grime. I sat on the very edge of the chair and wouldn't even lay my purse down on the table or floor... it was that dirty. Another little dog also appeared and sat at my feet where its bed was. As I glanced around the room, there was a sofa in front of the living room window which was torn up and a mess, I assumed it was there for the large dog; you couldn't see through the window above it because it was completely covered in snot and drool. I was so terribly uncomfortable and only for I had to deal with them on this Will, I would have ran!!!

Over the next month we mostly communicated via email and our exchanges were amicable, until I went in to pick up the final documents and pay the invoice. They offered the standard - feel free to reach out to us if you have any further questions, however, it took six emails with the last one containing a subject line of - "This is my 6th email, could you please respond"! It took four months and that email subject line before they replied to a simple Will question.

Once I paid them, they went dead silent.

The absolute WORST experience I have ever had from a so called - professional service provider.

My advise to you is RUN.... don't walk, RUN from this place.

They do not answer calls and emails. I have a horrid story dealing with them! Stay far away as possible!!!

Gave them my business back in September 2023 and have not heard from them. Not answering phones and not replying to emails. Are they out of business? No idea!!!!! I am out of province so I can't even go door knock. Really unhappy. Service should have only taken a month.

Terrible service - never did my basic will despite being asked. Follow up calls were placed to see when it would be ready and was told just a few more days. This was months ago and still no will! Better off going somewhere else!
