Dr Kemp is one of thee WORST Dr's I've ever been to. He diagnosis everything with depression or asthma.. No word of a lie he tried to diagnose my 2 year old at the time with having the blues.... 😑😐 I went and seen an actual Dr for an actual opinion and my son was diagnosed with strep throat. My husband went in and seen him because he had a huge lump in a gland in his neck and apparently this was a build up of asthma Please save yourself the time and go see a real Dr who can actually diagnosis properly.

We had an injury that needed a wound cleaned and dressed. They came to the door, because it was locked and they don’t let people in without an appointment….. and we said can we please just have this taken care of and the made us go back to our car, call the person we were just talking to and book an appointment. When we called, they said because we haven’t been there for 2 years they won’t help us. Kemp should hire another doctor to accommodate the needs of the town or he simply shouldn’t be in business. We ended up going to pharmasave and they helped extremely well.

My husband, my son and I have all been to see Dr. Kemp. He is amazing. Sometimes we have had to wait quite some time, but this is because he is so thorough with his patients. I can honestly say, that my family and I appreciate his commitment to his patients. He is quick to diagnose, but each time he has been bang on (I believe this comes from years of experience). He takes the time to explain what is wrong, why and how it can be fixed/managed.

Dr Kemp has been so helpful and caring while treating me. He cares about his patients. This walk in is for existing patients only. Be there early (like 830am) or before to get in first. Dr Kemp takes his time with patients which is unheard of around central Alberta. Wait times vary. Overall Dr Kemp is great!

Dr. Kemp is amazing! You can tell he truly cares and I appreciate the many years he has put into his practice. True, it is not a walk-in for new patients but it is for those who are already patients. It's a small clinic in a small town. Lacombe and Red Deer are still close enough if wait times are long and I do go to Red Deer periodically as well. Regardless, Dr. Kemp is my first choice.

The best, most understanding doctor I've ever seen. I've been seeing him for 11yrs now and I have have no complaints. Nobody is perfect and even doctors can make mistakes. I was misdiagnosed once and ended up in emergency but it could have happened to anyone. I would never judge someone by one error. He is phenomenal and human. That's what I really like about him. His nurses are exceptional. Thank you for everything you have all done for me.

Kemp became my doctor after I moved here in 2014. I tried to make an appointment after trying to get a prescription he wrote for me refilled and because it had been a year the receptionist said that they had removed me as a patient. I had no letter or phone call to inform me. Very unprofessional.

This is the absolute worst doctor I have ever met. Today I took my 9 month old to see him for an ear infection ( he doesn't believe in ear infection and thinks it's just the throat that is the problem or nose). Before I went in I called the pharmacist to see what meds to get so he doesn't go yellow like his brother did as a baby. The wait time was 1.5 hour and it was not busy. When we got in he looked at his ears and said it was a little red and looked at his nose not not that well he didn't look at his throat. He said that it was because his throat and that he suggested that I put ear drop in that help with the pain and that all I could do was pray.

When I took my oldest in for an ear infection he said it was his nose. But when I went to the pharmacist he said he did prescribed antibiotics which would be for his ear. When we went for a check up to see if it was working he sent us to emergency and said someone would be waiting there for us. He thought he was having kidney problems because he was a bit yellow. He was yellow from the medication that he put him on. the doctor in emergency said that he put them on the wrong medication that he should have put them on this other one first.

So today from just before 10:30 till now 3:07 I have been running around blackfalds and lacombe waiting to help my 9 month old. If you have all day to just be told he can do anything this is the doctor you want to waste time with.
