Useless, DO NOT waste your time using their service.
I had a problem with a business who was giving me very hard time fulfilling their warranty obligations.
I filed complaint with BBB , the business was not collaborating and at the end BBB closed the case saying ( it was resolved but customer was not satisfied) which implied that I am the one who was mistaken, very politically careful with business.

Don’t waste your time. I filed a complaint against Orbit International Moving Logistics. Heather W was the complaint administrator. I provided numerous photos which clearly illustrated the damage and the completely inadequate manner in which the packers packed an original painting. They shoved it in a flattened box without any protection whatsoever. In its response, the company went off in a completely unprofessional and unproductive manner, flagrantly lying that the painting was in a picture box. I retained the basic flattened box which still had tons of paint scrapes left in it. It was irrefutable. I went back and forth responding to utter bullying, unprofessional nonsense from the company and in the end received this:

“We understand you are NOT satisfied with the business's response, and have noted your dissatisfaction in our files. While we were unable to reach your desired resolution, the business has provided your Better Business Bureau (BBB) with its position. This matter is now closed in BBB files, and will appear in the company's BBB Business Profile as: "Answered - the business addressed the issues within the complaint, but the consumer remains dissatisfied."

Somehow my complaint and all the details are missing from this business’s page and it retains an A+ rating. BBB what is the price for burying complaints?

Waste of time.

comment with the usual lame “please contact us to discuss your case”. Telling.

EDIT: read the review from Javier of Cargo Cabbie. He is spot on. This organization is all about getting paid by businesses not about consumers.

Filled a complaint with the BBB in Mid Oct. No resolution from the company we've complained about although the company provided with case numbers, etc. that has been aware of the credit issues for more than 7 months. BBB is a covert to protect these type of companies that obfuscate and you have to chase. The said company in BBB have more than 300 complaints this year so far and their rating on review of 1.2 our of 5. Although BBB give the questionable company an A+. In the end Better Business Bureau is a delayed tactic to give the consumer a false sense of security with disinformation to protect the said company

Hi I file complaints, but In the beginning BBB mail ducument to them , because the company always change address, they didn’t receive, after they send email , they started to call me , but the BBB say time is over , didn’t want to send them emails again . Say the case is close ..

Honestly I’m really disappointed with the BBB, specifically BBB Ontario. I left a poor review for a company that has a laundry list of bad reviews and complaints. The review posted but was censored beyond recognition. All they left were 2 sentences and a fragment, containing little detail about my experience. After challenging the censorship, Teresa said nothing could be done other than withdrawing the review, after which, they will not allow you to post a new one. She wouldn’t provide an explanation as to why the redacted language failed to comply with their incredibly subjective policy. The comment was not profane, nor was it untruthful or meandering/irrelevant. I take reviews seriously and tried to work with the company before resorting to leaving the BBB review. Needless to say, I will no longer be wasting my time with either entity.

READ THE REVIEWS - The BBB's conduct in this matter has been nothing short of disgraceful, blatantly favoring businesses that blatantly violate consumer rights. Specifically, the BBB has gone out of its way to defend a deceitful company that is clearly in breach of its own Terms of Service and policy agreements. Instead of holding the business accountable, the BBB has allowed it to continue misrepresenting purchases and has ignored serious red flags, such as the use of a falsified legal business address. This raises serious doubts about the BBB's integrity and its supposed commitment to consumer protection.

If your complaint is assigned to Michelle at the Better Business Bureau, you should seriously reconsider your options. My experience with her was beyond disappointing—Michelle failed to facilitate any sort of fair resolution. Instead, she blatantly sided with the business, despite the glaring violations of consumer protection laws that were completely ignored.

Adding to the frustration, key concerns I raised were completely dismissed. It’s clear to me now that the BBB is more interested in shielding businesses, even those with dubious practices, than actually helping consumers.

If you're looking for someone who will genuinely fight for a fair resolution, do yourself a favor and request a different case manager—or better yet, avoid the BBB altogether. Trusting them to mediate this dispute was a complete waste of time, as Michelle provided no meaningful support or mediation and closed the case in favor of the business without addressing the legitimate issues raised. Angela, as Michelle's superior, was no better, simply rubber-stamping Michelle's biased actions and further proving the BBB's lack of commitment to fairness.

A class-action lawsuit against the BBB for negligence sounds about right - I have much evidence in my case to prove BBBs negligence and deceitful actions.
