We are very grateful for the excellent service received from the Bennet Grant LLP. My sister had her Wills and Powers of Attorneys (POAs) created with Stephen Grant and his team.

As the Executor of my sister's Estate I felt very supported as Stephen guided us through the process before and after my sister's passing every step of the way. The settlement of the estate was somewhat complex in that it also involved the sale of her property that had to be closed within six months of her passing as she had a reverse mortgage on the home. He and his staff were responsive, prompt and very professional and the advice we received was excellent. Also, the fees were quite reasonable. For these reasons, I highly recommend Bennet Grant LLP.

Sadly, I have to echo many others - finally had to "pull the plug" and go at it alone after zero forward movement over several years. I thought I "had the best" in my corner and was (hopefully) a pretty flexible client that complied things for efficiency, but these efforts were of no use. There were large gaps in their understanding of the matter(s) which were clarified several times and incurred additional costs. Once the billing really started, it became unmanageable and showed signs of getting worse. $22K+ and no further ahead in any way. On an upside, I'm very grateful that they have been patient with the balance owing.

Very disappointed in dealing with this firm. A simple matter ended up costing me nearly 20k in legal fees. I was assured it would not go past 5k there were no complications either( also, little to no communication and their promises mean nothing).
I am also baffled at how incredibly disorganized they are( not one specific person alone but everyone I have had to deal with) very basic mistakes made which should not have happened, not once, not twice but multiple times and in the end, I didn't get much benefit to their services( if you're going to charge this kind of money you should absolutely not be making repeated and serious errors and communicate much better).
In my honest opinion, look elsewhere.
What ever you are quoted, be prepared to pay 3 or 4 times that. Very greedy and shameless about it.
