This BDO office are unprofessional.

Their staff treat you only as a transaction and not as a person.

As well, they are disorganized.

Here are some examples.

1) They did not submit my 2021 income tax return on time because they transferred my return to different staff members who never confirmed to me that they are managing my file. As a result, not only did this error cause a personal inconvenience, I had to pay penalties imposed by CRA.

2) They send me forms that I already previously signed.

3)'They request to me to provide them documents I already sent to them.

4) On several occasions, they never responded to my inquiries in a timely manner where I had to constantly follow up unnecessarily which was a waste of time.

These negative experiences also happened in previous years.

Overall, it has been a terrible customer service experience dealing with this company where you pay high service fees in return for poor customer service and disorganization.

You are better off taking your hard-earned money to an accounting company who treats you with respect as a client and a person other than BDO.

Absolutely horrendous. It takes them days to respond to simple inquiries. When you bring your concern to their management, all you get is bad attitude and they would even go as far as ditching their clients for their own mistakes as they are unable to validate their own bad service and obviously ditching clients is their way to cover up their own mistakes. I find some of their staff very rude, unprofessional and judgmental. Very poor communications. My realtor (who has dealt with many of their customers) told me that BDO has made many mistakes on their customers' files and charge a lot for their unprofessional and unpleasant service. Buyer beware! It is "stay away" if you ask me.

We went here to get information on getting our taxes done and the receptionists looked like we were asking them physics questions. We got no info whatsoever. We told them that we were new clients and they had no idea what to do. There were no smiles, no nice greetings nothing. The girl we dealt with didn’t seem to explain things correctly but at least she was nice! Horrible experience and we’ve dealt with a BDO before in another town and they were awesome! For a new location, this place literally sucks! Also, for $250 to do a basic tax return is lidarcis!

Gave them a 1 star review because it is 2018 and I'm still dealing with them for a 2016 tax refund that bdo claims I do not owe any more taxes on but the CRA has reassessed my account and keeps informing me that I owe nearly $4k. BDO has been completely unprofessional the entire time and has been a complete nightmare to deal with.
