This shop offered excellent service. They were great at explaining what I needed done on my truck and their prices were great. I used to trust autopits, served my family for years. Just the other day I brought my 2010 ford escape in, I knew what the problem was and told them. The ac compressor was beginning to seize, the transmission had a leak, and I had a plugged muffler. I told them I wanted the ac compressor either replaced, or bypassed. I told them I wanted to leak to be identified, and if it was the transmission line to the transmission cooler that I'd replace that myself, and not to worry about the plugged muffler as that was something I could also do myself. I did my oil change, about 2 weeks just before. The last oil change before this was November of last year. Full of oil, in fact it was decent enough I could have gotten another month or two before. So when I'm told my engine had only .5 litres of oil, when the problem was my ac compressor I was a little set back. Two days later, lord behold; the belt sits in my front driveway and the compressor is seized. I'd like to know if Jose is still running this shop, bc it seems that's when the shop ran properly. I diagnosed the problem, doing half their job, and now I'm down $80 and a vehicle due to their malpractice. Especially just before labour day weekend, when dealerships will be closed and I earn holiday pay. Before this I'd recommend anyone in town, now, I'd bring my car to Canadian tire before them. My next day off is next Saturday. I didn't come gor an oil leak, I came for a transmission leak and no you said and I qoute "It's got two days left in it" I asked qell I drive to the falls and back to Fort erie every day, can she make it and you said "yes check the oil levels." Lying to boot on your reply, good look for the business. Belts in my front driveway rn. You also said at noon you'd do a power wash I come at 4pm and it still wasn't done. $50 for a power wash of the chasis. Ridiculous. Didn't know low oil causes the serp belt to snap 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ but I'm the not the certified mechanic what do I know
