My husband and I enlisted the services of Paul Andrews to assist us with matters arising from a vendor take-back mortgage in our favour after the buyers had fallen into default prior to paying us for the home that we had sold to them. It was a stressful situation for us but we felt so much better once we involved Paul. He is very confident and dogged in his approach. He is thorough, organized, and very attentive to the needs of his clients. He lays out the facts and does not waste time trying to 'sugar-coat' things. He resolved our case successfully while explaining the process at every turn. The person who referred us to him had said that he is 'like a dog with a bone' once he is on a case and we believe that this is an accurate depiction. We feel fortunate to have had him fighting for us and he would be the first person we would call if the services of a litigator are required in the future.

After reading great reviews for Paul Andrew, I decided to contact Andrews Donnelly law firm but unfortunately, I was given Whitney to look after my case.
I needed an amendment on my separation agreement and assistance in filling out the divorce paperwork
I paid the retainer in Nov 23 and reached out in Feb as I hadn't received an update. After reaching out a few times, Whitney responded that all files are important and are triaged on an ongoing basis, and with an absence of court-ordered deadline, she was unable to give a timeline of when my file would be completed.
By May, I still had no update or progress on file. After I submitted another request for update, I finally received a draft to review.
If time is any concern to you, I would definately not recommend having Whitney look after your file. My very simple and straight forward case took 6 months before any real progress was made and 10 months before it was complete.

I was so grateful that Paul Andrews took me on as a client. He was very helpful and reassuring with my legal process. He explained everything so that I understood how the legal system worked and what my rights were and what to expect. He didn't candy coat anything, he was upfront and honest. The process took a little longer that expected which was not his doing. Paul was persistent and always followed up in a timely manner. The firms prices were also reasonable compared to other firms.
I would use Andrews Donnelly LLP again and I would definitely use Paul Andrews again.

I heard the firm was very good. However, my dear friend had the misfortune of getting Whitney Donnelly as her lawyer.
She had been expecting to get Andrew Donnelly.
She had a simple divorce to get completed.
Ms. Donnelly has given her the runaround. Not returned her calls. Been several months with no responses and no action taken.
I feel so very bad for her and her experience this far. (As she has put down a retainer for her services.)
When my dear friend emailed Ms. Donnelly to inquire The status of her case, as it had been many months since she had spoken to her, Ms. Donnelly responded that she had other important clients that she must triage first.
Therefore, I would not recommend Whitney Donnelly if you were looking for A lawyer, who keeps you in the loop and works on your best behalf. Quickly and thoroughly.
