Super busy with real estate, but such a nice person to deal with. Emails and phone calls are answered quickly. I had to get in to see her in an emergency and she squeezed me in and did the documents I needed done on the spot herself. Never had an issue dealing with her, always courteous and efficient. Usually easy enough to make an appointment and see her in a timely manner. Would recommend her to anyone needing a lawyer with anything to do with real estate of any kind.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a lawyer.
I was buying a duplex and the vacant side was left trashed with garbage and junk that the previous owner had left behind. Amanda asked them to pay the estimate of $2500 rather than the invoice of $4200 which is much higher than the estimate due to more furniture and garbage being found the day of garbage removal. She managed to get a total of $3500 in the end, still leaving $700 not covered in a contract where the home was to be empty, not filled with things they didn’t want to move.
When it came time to pick up the bank draft it wasn’t in my name. My name being the name on all of the documents and the owner of the duplex. Instead it was in my boyfriend’s name, he is not the owner of the property. He had considered buying it but we had decided that I would buy it in the end. Therefore my name was on everything. Not his. My name was also on the invoice from the garbage removal company as well as a letter they had written noting the state the property was left in. When I mentioned the bank draft should be in my name as it’s my property and I had paid for the garbage removal I was told they can’t change it because it’s a bank draft. So in the end I didn’t even get the payment that I was being told I would receive. Amanda also didn’t have the decency to tell me that or reply to my email regarding the matter but instead had the receptionist tell me.
I calls the sellers lawyer to try and get answers and it was clear Amanda would not be helping me, I was told all of the paperwork they had is with my boyfriend’s name on the property. Which is interesting since everything I signed had my name on it.
When trying to out hydro in my name I couldn’t because they had sent hydro one the move in papers saying my boyfriend had bought the property and not me but did not tell me papers were even sent. Hydro one can’t tell me names because of privacy. So it took me almost a month to figure out what happened with hydro one.
Also when picking up the keys to the property and the bank draft I wasn’t asked for ID. They just gave it to me.
Poor service. Truly does not care about her clients.
Edit added to reply to Amanda's response. I'm the one on the agreements. She therefore did not have the draft payable to the name on the agreements.

Really disappointing service. They sadly seem too busy and unorganized to provide professional service. Went with them for my new home purchase because they were the cheapest, but definitely wouldn't recommend to future first time home buyers.
