This morning was a waste. Revenu Canada has not sent a notice of assessment to me for several years. I tried to fix that and was told that I have resolve this in person. We went to one Revenu Canada office and it is closed. The site supervisor said to Google it and find where we were tto be. I told him that I did and this is the address I found. Nadine and I went to another federal building and found nobody there. Some people in thee lobby were concerned about how I walked through 2 secure entrance doors to get in the building.
They said where we were to go. We went there, but the building is closed to the public. I was given a phone number to call where i would find caring and sympathetic people. NAAAAHHHH

I can’t get through to speak to an agent it just keeps telling me I need to speak to an agent but transfers me to the main line again. It’s an endless cycle of asking you questions only to send to the beginning again. I can’t update my phone number in order to to log into my online account!!!

Jesus christ one star is gracious. After going through the recording which was zero support, it placed me on hold. I requested a call back as I didn't want to wait 1.5 hours. Nope, wasn't able to because they were at capacity (why would you even offer that option). I sat on hold the first time for an hour.... call dropped. Called a second time and sat on hold for 45 mins.... call dropped. Called for the third time after going through the entire recording again and guess what, the call dropped. If the lines are too busy, then why the hell haven't they hired more people for the call centres.

The joke is that recording mentions to be kind and they will not tolerate rudeness. How the hell do you expect someone to be
happy when your support line is terrible and the calls continuously drop. Beyond frustrated. Just googled if I could go down to a building and they're "Temporarily Closed". Awesome.

The customer service is below average. When I called them, all I wanted was to change my address, but the lady on the phone proceeded to ask me so many private questions irrelevant to my request, such as my university tuition fee for 2021, the courses I took last year, and if I went to school or not; it is all too apparent that she is uneducated and is not qualified to help customers, IF you can even call it helping with her; she was unfriendly, loud, impatient, put me on hold for about three times, and was condescending, as in, when my parent assisted me in setting up my CRA account and changing my address (since I am still an adolescent and have no experience in the world yet), the lady on the phone said: "You are an adult, only you should be speaking to me and not your parent." As you can see, the service was far from professional.

I am not surprised with all these terrible reviews. customer service provides inconsistent answers and I intended to pay my taxes off online and they provided the wrong payee so now it's considered a late payment and I have been contacting back and fourth and apparently I still have an owing for "2017" balance when I INTENDED TO PAY but it went to 2018 so now it's considered a "late payment" and I have been calling backwards and forwards, transferring my calls only to be hung up on after waiting for 20 minutes AND to top it off now I had to get transunion involved if it was in my record for late payment when it was their mistake of providing me the wrong account #

The Canadian tax service surpassed my expectations with their honesty and integrity. They automatically processed me for tax incentives that I'm not even aware to apply for. Thank you, truly.
Just one thing that I hope the CRA can improve on, I addressed a request from the CRA on Aug 8, I received an online notice on Aug 15 asking the same question, resulting in 30min on the phone only to find out that the notification was just delayed in sending itself... by 7+ days. That's a pretty big lag. The telephone wait time is never too long though and the staff do try.
