I recently had a negative experience with Advanced Collection Services. I was reported to them by a plumbing company for an unpaid invoice of $150. I explained to the Collection Officer, Suzanne Smith, that I did not believe I should have to pay for the service as the plumber did not provide the requested emergency service for a sewage blockage issue. She even suggested that I pay the amount and claim it on my tax return, but I made it clear that this was not about the money, but rather a matter of principle and fairness. I understand that it is their job to collect debt for their clients, but I believe they should also take into consideration the argument of the person in debt and make a fair judgement. I am deeply disappointed by some businesses that prioritize profit over morality.

We contacted a few collection companies, & after reviewing the details we decided to go with Advanced Collection Services. Results are important, but we also wanted professionalism when contact was made regarding an unpaid account. After speaking with Len, it was clear that they provided that level of professional service. The communication with Len was timely & thorough, & the account was collected quickly. Super rude staff. I saw a missed call today and I called back . A woman who picked up the phone is super rude, I told her that I am not the one she is looking for, she said I am wasting her time for past ~200days and she cut my line without saying sorry. I usually do not pick up the call from unknown number and It is my right to decide if I want to pick up the phone or not.

Susanne Smith called a phone company and a bank and pretended to be the client. This is highly illegal. Please be aware.
